@@VitchAndVorty nope, it’s about the assassination of the president, but it’s not an actually loop where the character knows it, it’s about the different point of views to the characters ,watch it and you will understand you won’t be disappointed at all, one of my all time favs

The book "all you need is kill" was first, it came out in 2004. Movie, Manga and the graphic Novel (yeah, there is that too) all came out May to July 2014 (different releases around the globe, from what I can tell, the movie was first, but not sure). So, it is save to say that they are all based on the book. The book is quite different from the movie. I would agree though that the movie is better. However, the book gives a bit more insight on the alien invasion, which was kinda cool (though I think the more animalistic aliens in the movie suit the story better).

@@Kinos141 Agreed. Especially Tom Cruises character is quite different from the book hero. But I think they did a great job on that. The transition from "despicable gimp" to "hero" works very well.

only thing missing from the movie is the girl then the guy both use giant fuckoff swords when they run out of ammo that their suits can use.

He hijacked the power meaning the overmind doesn’t have access to it.

Time wasn’t reset in the end because he had a blood transfusion. Which cancels the effect of the blue blood in the first time he died.

Cage isnt tied to an Alpha, he basically is an Alpha itself. Since the BigBrainAlien doesnt know when Cages time reset, I think he just got his own ability unrelated to the BigBrainAlien

The easiest way to explain it is that he became an alpha. The Omega doesn't keep track of all of them, just their vitals. So when one dies, it resets. As for why time never reset due to another one dying, in the movie it's explained that they basically never die since they don't go to the front until everything is dead. In the movie, it's also explained that the omega isn't in control of the power, it basically just does it by instinct. So even once it knows, it still resets. Think of it like holding your breath. Once you start needing to breathe bad enough, you're not going to be able to force yourself not to.

@@ACOGG-1" interstellar" and "event horizon" are both very good space faring movies. I enjoyed "Europa report" as well but only on a single watch through.

@@ACOGG-1 You might give Gravity starring Sandra Bullock a go. It's less on the action side and more of a survival story, but it's the closest thing I can think of at the moment.
