This is way better than being able to do a linear movement of 315 lbs... I say this as someone who focuses on lifting and not ENOUGH on calisthenics. End of the day, only other lifters care about your bench number. This shit is way more impressive@@spacedandy7935
@@miskctrl9846Seriously? I can do a 1 arm and about 20 pike push ups, I’ve never really attempted a hand stand push up (I can’t do a handstand) do you think if I learnt a hand stand I could do one?
@@hafud1277 actually that's not the only way to train for explosive power. But enjoy the technique you like. I'll be training without getting injured in the meantime.
To everyone reading this: having goals is good, but never beat yourself over for not beign able to quickly achieve them. Never skip steps, follow a progression and don't feel ashamed to start with your knees on thy ground or even inclined on a wall. Some people just don't have the genetics and didn't develop strong arms during their teenager years or you are simply a little overweight now. Don't let people put you down. Stay determined and you WILL achieve your goals. Stay healthy :)
@@vicokonkwo7776 and you either had a bad day at work or are just mad, how tf can you be the judge if someone works out or not, I might be disabled and you wouldn't know, also stability is mostly considered in those push ups that mostly cover triceps, so core is not directly trained by these, so please shut up if you don't have anything meaningful to say, and it doesn't seem like it for now
@@Devious90210no , it is really hard , especially when you try to do it with the right technique, without twisting your body , I can do 1 arm pushups when twisting my body, but if I try to do it without twisting I can’t
I think you gotta train your wrists, especially for stuff like planche or long hand stand holds (even short handstands can hurt my wrists, but my wrists are skinny sooo...) Edit: I rewatched it again and noticed he actually has a wrist brace on one of his wrists, so maybe he actually did collapse his wrist 🤣
@@okaden1015Yeah, basically what you said. I sometimes use braces when advancing with the weight on bench pressing but using them constantly would render them unprepared for what's to come.
There's something wrong with your wrists then. I am a woman and my wrists can take many amounts of pushups and handstands in 2 hours straight training. You can also wear wrist bandage.
Bro believe it or not but this man has half the strength of some calisthenics athletes. I mean this guy is really really advanced but after seeing a man do a 1 arm plance... damn its difficult to compete with that
@@DavFN123 I live and breathe this culture, and from level 7 it’s very rare to see people do these tricks. We sometimes get athletes from England, France, Ireland, Germany and Belgium and then they show these crazy things. But its very uncommon. On international tournaments we get insane athletes who can do things you said. But half the athlete ? Just not true man
@@rens7522 Bro I can do till around 6 right. I'm still training to do straddle planche. Obviously I didn't mean half I just meant he is no where near their strength. Don't get me wrong tho. This guy is crazy strong.
I was waiting for SquatU to start talking halfway through, and I'm just thinking to myself, 'what advice is he possibly going to give me that's going to make me think i can slap my chest in the middle of a handstand pushup 😅😆"
@@doggamer3649 Maybe wrapping the wrists with something like boxing hand wraps to stabilize them to safely train them without risking extreme overextensions? Just guessing here, I'm not an athlete. 😅
