Thank you for that. This TV is a little different from my old TV because I used to have an external Roku box and that TV I could change channels using a numbered remote and go directly to a channel on this new Hisense TV it only came with a Roku remote of course doesn't have numbers so I programmed a universal remote to use for this TV and it turns it on and off but it will not let me go to a direct Channel. I was wondering if you knew why or if there was something I am doing wrong.

No problems after two years with one of the entry level models (43" FHD model for €200 from Amazon Germany, non-smart tv). So durability seems fine but this one does have quite a lot of DSE when watching football for example, seems to be related to the direct led backlight.

I bought one of these TVs off-line when I started it. It’s exactly like what you’re showing in this video asked for the language and all that it does come on with the remote. It’s a Roku remote. Looks like the one you’re using, but for some reason all it does is go on and off. It does not run anything else. The OK button doesn’t work and none of that what would be the reason for that? Is there anything I can do because the TV I can’t get it on Wi-Fi to connect to anything like a different remote or something from online I just don’t know what to do. Any help would be wonderful thank you very much.

Hi, does the Roku TV still show up in your wifi network management app after unplugged and AA batteries removed from the remote? There is even an exactly the same wifi router here. My Airbnb host has this, and after I unplugged everything for three days the Roku TV still shows up in my network management app, and I wonder if I have been stalked through spoofed hidden camera pretending to be Roku TV.

@@ashleyespinoza9132 I did after several times unplugging the tv and trying the setup over and over again. I wish I had better news, also try connecting the tv to a different wifi network for setup if you have that option.

Me too I am having the same issue. It's really weird. Now the only way I can watch that TV is to use the streaming Stick from my old TV and the old remote can't even use the new remote that came with the new TV. I'm thinking it is a defective TV it might be the same for you. What did you wind up doing?

When it came to the setting up an account ... he said he already had one ... so didn't really bother explaining properly.... conveniently! All I want is a tv to use the freeview channels ... & NOT connect to the internet ! Do I STILL have to make an account ? Is this thing about setting up an account the norm or what ?? Only $199.99 on Amazon as of 5/5/22... If you guys are in need of a good-sized, cheap 1080p gaming monitor or TV with 4 HDMI inputs and VERY GOOD viewing angles, this one is a decent bargain! 👍👍👍👍👍
