For anyone wondering if you have a black screen with the backlights on and sound its a tcon board issue which is a realtivley simple fix 9f just replacing the board
@markennamoore7502 i dont know how to describe it. Look up tcon board issue for whatever tv model you have. There are some good videos on RU-vid about how to replace a tcon board it fairly simple
@RU-vidsucks.. yes generally but there is also a possibility its an issue with the main board and if you replace both and nothing works that where my knowledge ends you could probably get it repaired at like best buy or smth
@@canadaman9373 I found another video (was in another language) with no (cc). About the left ribbon cable going to that board being an issue.. tried that and the right half of screen turned white but with no image (like in the video) unplugged the right ribbon cable and did Not get the same results.. not sure if that info helps.. thanks for responding!!
no sir bought a brand new t-con board. same thing still no picture. i do not know how to test anything with meters so that's out of the question for me. tv is only 8 months old but it's my 2nd one so the warranty didn't cover it. sure would like to fix it so can have a 2nd tv anymore suggestions thanks@@trxlldan
I too am having this same issue. The issue started after the recent update to the TV. I have not yet found a fix for this. Still trying to find some resolution
Hisense responded that this is a known issue with some of the units and there is not going to be a 'fix or patch'. Hisense provided a shipping label and is replacing with a new tv.
@@chriswall09 how old was your tv because mine is doing this now as well and they told me it was out of factory warranty and they couldn’t do nothing about it.
@@fargog779 nope i just went on ebay and bought new boards there pretty cheap just ebay your tv serial number and a carap load should popup and you can lean how to put in new boards via youtube
@@SimonD1same but it's easy to fix uur currently running on standard mode which is power saving mode which gives a cloud like effect change it to cinema day or dinamic and enjoy your 4k
Great it worked after somer trouble shooting. It wasn't working when I first tried it several times. So I let it play only the sound for some minutes via HDMI then followed your instructions....Voila just cancelled my schedule at the repair center.. Thanks :)
Today for the first time i have this problem. I fixed it thanks go this video. But i want to know if this is a critical issue and i have to send tv back or is it ok now? How is yours after these month's??
Have the same problem good back lights and sounds but plane screen. But I usedto press audio only button. But this time nothing picture went off completely.
@@bahbahsadventure3472 i was told it was the picture board not even sure what that means. The price was expensive, made no sense since it almost half the price. I will try the fix

Mines come on with a low light see Hisense and shuts right off won't load apps....can't get to factory reset did the uplugg thing remote thing reset button and nothing
