Can you answer the question please Why does English language aggressively borrow words from other language? Why does the writer mention the word aggressively? Why not to say borrow words without mentioning this word

“aggressively” can mean “intensively, frequently, often”. English has a larger amount of borrowed words than many languages, due to the influence of old French, Christianity’s liturgical language Latin, the Greek words used in many sciences, and many words it picked up as a colonial language.

Replace "aggressively" with any synonymous adverb of your choosing! :) Generously? Liberally? Easily?
