Yes!! Those sounds irritate me immensely!! The cutting of soap, is another bugbear of mine. I hate how, ASMR 'artists' also have to force their voices, into a whisper. Marie, has a naturally beautiful voice, so he doesn't need to fake it!!
“Why did revolutionary France, send an expeditionary force to Egypt? It sounded like a good idea at the time.” Only time I’ve chuckled during an ASMR video. Love it.
I expected to fall asleep. I stayed up for three hours absolutely fascinated by the story of this French Chad taking down coalitions like its no bodies business. Free my dog napoleon he ain't do nothing wrong
This channel is GOLD!! We must protect this man and this channel!!. Ive been here for a while and still havent gotten over hiw amazing this channel is A ASMR channel that has such a calming, stress relief sound. The French accent has always had that relaxing effect on me. Before I knew about ASMR i always loved hearing a French women talk. Always thought French women were absolutely beautiful. I'm an American. And I've always been OBSESSED w history! And this channel is a great package. Asmr/ relaxing voice- that has a French accent- history, great story telling, then alot times when he finishes he just dont end video. He let's us sleep w relaxing sounds like rain, fireplace for a while . Sorry for the rant but this channel is Gold. I dont listen to Male ASMR. Only this channel and one more Male. The ASMRIST that does the ambient vibes with such relaxing music tracks.
I love history , soothing voices, this should be heaven for me, but his french englisg just doesnt work for me, k dont know what it is, just doesnt get me relaxed, and its a pity awesome content
Please don’t stop making these videos! The passion and quality of these videos make you deserve way more followers, but it doesn’t matter because you’re better than almost all “asmrartist”
Bonsoir, j'adore votre travail ainsi que votre passion pour l'histoire. J'aimerais savoir si il serait possible de réaliser de nouveau des videos en français. Merci de votre travail. C'est exemplaire
I’ve listened to your videos for a couple of years now, always enjoy your style of explaining a topic and your stories keep my insomnia company! Love your choice of topics too across science and history especially... Keep them coming 🥰
Perfect companion for a long drive through the desert - alternating between this and The Doors. ✨ Even on ‘settled’ topics, you always bring new insight and to things and I come away looking at the story with a freshly illuminated perspective. ✨
There is an amazing book series that starts with His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novak. It is historical fiction -- if Napoleon had dragons. Unfortunately it is written from the British perspective and I am afraid not overly flattering to the French. My apologies. ;) (*On reflection, none of the books are particularly flattering to any nation, so there is that.) Anyway sad to say I knew almost nothing on the subject and have been surprised at the accuracy of the books, at least for the parts I've managed to stay awake for. I look forward to rereading the series with a new perspective. 💜💜💜
Hi, thank you. I love reading and I usually buy the books, that people recommend. I'm going to order that book today, from The Book Depository. I like a break from my usual more serious books on history like true stories from history like Rasputin and other interesting historical figures xx
@sarasmr 42 • I love it when a book is recommended on a subject that I listen to on asmr. If I wasn't interested in the topic I wouldn't be listening to/watching the video. That book series sounds really interesting! I'm going to check it out. Thank you for sharing this info. 🌟 🙂 🐉📖 📚 🐉
Hello, I wanted to give you an idea of a story to read. I do enjoy your stories. Memoirs of Prince Eugene of Savoy. Their is also a story about Prince Eugene by Alexander Dumas which I believe is a historical fiction which is excellent.
Interesting that you said that Britain had evolved to constitutional monarchy. Definitely the view that British history seeks to promote as part of the narrative of Britain as liberal and progressive force. How easily we forget the vicious and bloody civil wars which replaced the absolute monarchy first with the commonwealth and finally with a limited constitutional monarchy...!
The lessons of Nationalism vs Jingoism were a nice refreshing theme. There is nothing wrong in pride in one's home. But when that pride turns sour it looks elsewhere to spread it's malice. France, England it makes no difference.
Muchas gracias por este canal. Me encantan todas tus presentaciones. Las he descubierto recientemente y he devorado todas las que he podido. Tu voz es maravillosa y los contenidos, apasionantes. Si pudiera ser, por favor, podrías lanzar una nueva presentación en español? Cualquier tema histórico o legendario es perfecto. Muchas gracias de nuevo por este canal y enhorabuena.
i have dedicated my spare room to a tabletop of 1/72 scale hat range napoleonic battles for spainish campaign and a new arrival in boxes of my austrian o hungarians for the battles in austria and leipzig
I've been playing a lot of AC unity so it's cool to see this video because it reminds me of Napoleon from AC unity Edit: I know Napoleon was famous because of the war. And yes I know he is not from AC unity.
I don't care about Napoleon at all, so this was PERFECT sleep material! I could enjoy your delivery without my brain trying to stay awake to hear the story.
im studying to pass in my dream college and your videos really help me to learn! the way you explain the history is very simple and makes me feel like im living that time! beijos do brasil 🇧🇷
No joke my high school history teacher use to but the class to sleep talking like this. The class room was dark too aside from natural light that came through the curtains and a soft yellow lamp.
