@@leothompson2777 he has actually told the german croud to stop whistling multiple times in the past. Even said it in an interview on stage, to stop whistling and to respect every player on stage no matter their nationality
Van Veen deserves the spot but it's a shame we can't see both. That said Pietreczko may have still done enough, he needs Aspinall to beat Van Veen and Woodhouse to lose to either Cross in R2 or Snakebite/Waites in R3, and then basically for there not to be a completely random winner of the event. Very realistic scenarios. I rate Van Veen extremely highly and have no doubt we will see him in every single major ranked event after the grand prix for the next several years but still you have to consider him the underdog vs Aspinall. Anyway I am rambling but am excited to see how this all plays out

When he is good, he is a beast but when he is off he is very poor. If he can get more consistent than I have no doubt he can get to top 10, he is class 🤌
I think once he drops his ego he will be there. He has a huge head for someone that, with 1 notable exception, has a horrific record in major TV events. Now I will give him credit he was sensation in the Euro championships last year but outside of that he's knocked out in either the round he enters or the round after in every TV event (that he's even qualified for) in the last 3 years. Rarely goes deep in Euro Tours either. He is a great talent and very easy to watch when in flow but he comes off as a very poor loser and is very arrogant, a little modesty could go a long way for him.

In fairness it's not his fault that German crowds are also morons. I think Pikachu could work on controlling his emotions better. But the point stands that darts crowds are horrible across the world
He will be very disappointed not to win that but the fact he's getting these opportunities shows he's improving. I'm confident he will get over the line someday
@@xtheamazingax You are correct, it is Aspinall. And make no mistake, he will desperately want to win that game, because nobody wants to potentially face Van Veen in the Grand Prix! No disrespect to Pietrezcko who is a very solid player in his own right but Van Veen is a special talent
