Really good lecture, I am listening to them for a test but it isn't at all a chore to me, I'm enjoying every second, I love how this professor explains everything, it makes me so hyped about architecture. Faaaabulous
The windows in the Palazzo Carignano do not have Indian feather headpieces but acroterium and antefix. These Italian architects (without land or commerce in America) were deeply engaged with antiquity these aren't Native American references. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acroterion#:~:text=An%20acroterion%2C%20acroterium%2C%20or%20akroteria,building%20in%20the%20classical%20style. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antefix I do not know how many times I have watched the lesson already. To have the opportunity to learn and have such a good time with Prof Jaqueline is absolutely wonderful, thanks for sharing.
