I don't think they would have built a wall and broken it,instead they may have used a wooden structure to support the arch,they may have planned to build a huge dome above the pillars,however this sultan died young his wife was Chand Bibi who fought against akbar
@@TheTigerofMysore Also if u observe gol gumbaz is using basalt stone which is from volcano eruption so it can support the huge dome on it,here they tried to distribute the load of the tomb using large number of pillars,however since the foundation is hollow due to burial,it could not support the weight,the plan was to construct 3 tombs(Gol,this one,Jehan begum) on the style of pyramids of Giza
Shafiq bhai it is wrong that the engineer of Bara kaman was Malik Sandal. Please refer the history books again and correct the things because Malik Sandal was the engineer of Gol Gumbaz which was built between 1560 -70. Brother before saying it's wrong did u cross check the dates u are referring, Gol gumbaz was made for Mohammad Adil Shah and he reigned from 1627 to 1656. And his son is Ali Adil Shah Who constructed bara kamaan And malik sandal had worked on both the monuments
