Italians are the masters at Combining Art and Engineering that's why I Admire them because I too love Art and Engineering and want to see them combined in any way possible but as someone who's also a Devout Car Enthusiast I also recognize that Cars are the best way to do it.
@@caleblane7619 thank you Caleb for these beautiful words. I’m Italian, born and raised in Florence and I understand what you’re talking about. You’re right, Engineering and art together, these are the cars we love! Have a good day sir!⚜️
John Q. Public - No, you’re clearly wrong as the Alsace & the Loraine were still part of Germany back then ! So, it wasn’t France either back then ! It is strange as BUGATTI appears French only since the acquisition of the VW group in the early 2000’s. Previously it was in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, same region where Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Pagani, De Tomaso etc are produced. BUGATTI never had a French connection before. VW just wanted to bring back the production were it was founded. And it became “French” for the first time then ! BUT IT IS CERTAINLY NOT “110 ANS”, in a French flag.
I love the story just skips from Atoree loosing his deal, and job, to somehow getting millions in finance capital to set up his own company in France with no explanation.. ah the good old day!! 😂😎👍

The usual vice of the French to make what is not French become French. Especially if this comes from Italy. Da Vinci, Bugatti, Lagrange, Cassini, Brazza etc. etc. Or from other countries like Madame Curie. I would not be misunderstood, I love the French, they make me tenderness.

The German carmaker giant VW Group made the acquisition of BUGATTI in the early 2000s. I don’t remember if the offer was at least good or not but surely Italy wasted such an important Brand as BUGATTI SPA. VW made important investments but they did not continued the legacy of BUGATTI but started a new and different era of it. With the intent to built more likely pure exclusive luxury cars from € 1 million rather then continue the short history of BUGATTI Automobili sport cars. In fact the CHIRON & VEYRON are in good design and “fast” (on a straight track) but does not have that real motor race sportiness Lamborghini for example still have. Seem they just wanted to build the “Louis Vuitton bag” of cars. 👎🏼
Actually it’s the other way around. Besides Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial vehicles, the Volkswagen Group also owns Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Scania trucks, Man trucks, and Ducati motorcycles.
