One memory i will hold forever, being a New Zealander at Wrestle Kingdom and jumping out of my chair in celebration when Jay White won while the entire crowd was in shocked silence around me.

The whole Jay White/Okada/Gedo storyline is a masterpiece. The story was simple: Okada was on the top of the world, and he foolishle invited the psychopath Jay White to Chaos, and when Okada was vulnerable, Jay destroyed the whole team. Jay White is the greatest wrestling character ever, and Gedo is the wrestling Albert Einstein.

the storytelling in the okada vs omega saga is absolutely brilliant. the entire long-term story itself and the story they tell in the ring while wrestling. you dont need dave meltzer to tell you what a masterpiece the entire omega vs okada saga is. im upset its now over 😕

Love how far ospreay's gotten in his career, he had 2 banger matches with omega this year and he's now the iwgp us champion

These are much better at this runtime. Too much history to unpack at 5 minutes, they really need 20 to 30 minutes to get all the interweaving plot story across.

This whole series has been incredible. It really speaks to the strength of the story telling in NJPW. A WWE version of this would be a mess. With the possible exception of a long term New Day vs Usos breakdown.

Will Ospreay is awesome, but it's time for him to go HEAVYWEIGHT! I want Ospreay/Tanahashi, Ospreay/Naito, a G1 run, I want it all!

Love these videos as someone that got to see the odd show in the 90's to watching since Dominion last year this fills in the gaps and gets me more excited for NJPW

These do a good job of clarifying the importance of Rocky, of all people. But the story is the humbling of Okada. It'll be interesting to see if the sincerely humbled Okada can beat Jay - without Tanahashi. Suzuki-Gun next, please!
