History of Kamen Rider Den-O 

Takeru Satoh is one hell of an actor. Being able to believably do multiple different characters in the same show at once is godly talent.

What's weird about Den-o is that it's the same 50 episodes but it feels like a longer adventure than the other kamen rider and thus making you feel like you've got to know the characters better.

Truthfully, the main reason this series appealed to me was that the whole "look at me I'm not Ryotaro but am Ryotaro". I'm honestly a sucker for story lines where the main character has DID (done well) or possession plots and lead actor gets to show off some talent/character. Some examples would be in: Den-O (no duh), Ex-Aid (Emu's 2 personalities), Build (Sento when he lost his memories but regained Takumi Katsuragi's).

One of my favorite KR from the mid heisei era. It had an almost perfect blend of comedy, charm and tearjerking moments.

Although I'm well aware of the show's flaws, I personally think Den-O's excellent. Incredibly likable characters that ooze personality, sleek aesthetics, intriguing story… If it wasn't for W and OOO, this would probably be my favorite Rider season.

I didn't click with Den-O in the beginning. But then at some point, it dawned on me that Ryotaro's bad luck was treated almost like a disability...specifically, similar to my disability. Ryotaro is always weakened, recovering from an injury or illness - much like a chronically ill person. When Yuuto points out how weak Ryotaro is, Ryotaro agrees - but says his weakness is no excuse to not do the right thing. That moment really sold me on Ryotaro, and he shot up the top of my fav rider list.

This how the form means: Final Form is for the show and it the last Form Super Form for the Form that almost next to Final Form Special Form is for Movie Hyper Battle DVD Form is for Hyper Battle DVD.

This is my take on final form. Final forms in general are basically the endgame of both the Rider power and the person themselves. It is where a Rider is at peak parallel to the man's journey and experiences. For Double, Xtreme symbolizes the strongest bond between Shotaro and Philip, and thus having the strongest ability their unique Gaia Memories could give. For Drive, it is the friendship shown among the team that allows Shinnosuke to cross between the realm of dead and the living, and given the power of all Shift Cars, a bunch of AI with lives of their own. Both the investigation team and the cars are his friends after all. For Den-O, it is like OOO in what their final forms are. Both of them have two final forms, representing two versions of themselves. Ryutaro has both his bond with the Imagin and his own self turning strongest from the worst of bad luck. Eiji has his selfless emotion that defines him of what he is (Putotyra) and his new found desire of saving his friend from the miserable life of a Greeed (Tajador). Sure, it is mostly money that makes a form a final form, but the creative team of writers also able to write symbolism into the strongest non-extra form throughout the series. And just like Endgame (MCU) where it never truly ends, Kamen Rider having stronger forms beyond final forms also signify how their journey still going. Have fun trying to figure out why Ghost's Mugen is a bad final form

Personally I consider whichever form is strongest at the time to be the "final form" (For example, Build Genius because it's a combination of all other full bottles) and if it's not apparently obvious i'll go with whatever is the most directly an upgrade (like they mentioned with Liner form).

Ok I’ve been looking for somewhere to tell this joke and this is literally the only place I can think to put it. Episode 44 of Den-O is titled “Determined Single Action”. Out of the four versions of Double Action and the one (technically two) versions of Action Zero, Determined Single Action is definitely my favorite insert theme. This was way funnier in my head, I swear.

I never like how people some how except reviewer to NOT be biased. Reviewers and people too. And you need to find and pick reviewers you have similar taste too. Not all reviewers work for everyone and an important to test. Watching a review of something you really love, and something you really hate, is a great test. And with Den-O out of the way, now I need to see what you think of OOO

OOOs was the series that got me hooked, but Den-O was the show that made me fall in love with the Kamen Rider franchise.

It is sad that Den-O never got a new fansub. This is the period where TV-Nihon REALLY started getting "creative" with their fansubs, meaning subtitles in 1000 different colors and fonts, literal translations (such as writing "That is?" instead of "Isn't that?"), unnecessary profanity, and whole lines that were left untranslated because "Japanese is too complex and pure to be fully translated". Yeah... it was a weeb-sub... and it really took out some of the joy from me, because I was used to OverTime's subs, which were far more professional and localized.... But apart from that, Den-O was a really fun show, and it was the first Kamen Rider show to have a large female fanbase. In fact it was mainly women who attended the stage shows.

Great video Marcos. On the topic of final forms, how I rationalize is is that a final form is the strongest form that was built up within the main series and anything after is an "extra form". Example: Cross' final form is cross-magma, and muscle galaxy is an extra form.

This is one of my favourite’s from the Heisei Part 1 Era. Maybe because I found Ari and Yuto’s love story tragic. I keep hoping one day she’s going to remember him and they’ll get back together for Hana’s sake. I also love the relationship between Ryotaro and all his imagins. My favourite is Kumataros. I love Deneb too. I do agree with Lady Toku by the way.

Honestly my favorite taros is Ryuutaros and I got to day Den-O is one of my favorites. It was my first Kamen Rider and I have to thank the series for getting me into Kamen Rider

My favorite Taros is Ryutaros. It's fine if you don't get it Den-o, that's fine. As long as you didn't say Den-o sucks and Takeru Satou was the only saving grace just because.

ah den-o, i love this show, my second favourite rider show in the heisei era, the music is absolutely fantastic, the characters are great, the time travel plot is iffy at points, but they made it work, the main villain kai on the other hand... is the only real issue i have with den-o, he wasn't needed and they could have just used the last imagin as the last bit needed to erase the rest, well other than that blemish, this show was damn good, and hell it actually made me cry by the end when i thought these characters were actually gone for good, and i was legit happy to see them still there, though i was slightly spoiled since i did watch a certain movie anniversary before den-o, but even then i still felt a connection to these characters, much like many, den-o is special, and i can easily recommend it as a watch. (side note, my favourite show is OOO, just thought i'd put that out there.)

This was an awesome and funny Series I watched throughout January and February 2022 to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of this Show.

Den-O is and always going to be my favourite rider and series! Ryutaros is my favourite Taros and is the reason why started dancing Den-O is my favorite rider. No matter how many times I think about it I always think Ryotaro show me not matter who you are sometimes you need help from for friends (aka the Taros) And at the Beginning, he wasn’t very good at fighting but through time he trained with the Taros he became Great. This series that it has its ups and downs it’s good and bad do you know who showed me something… sometimes no matter what times people who stuck in the past you need to look forward to the future You still have time no Matter what and it shows me that your friends will always be there for you even if they have their own faults. The Songs in the are great All double action are great and a piano version too.

I happen to be an expert on that particular field... Naomi's actor, Rina, was said to have the "Best Butt in Japan" in 2007 and was given the title by God of Oshirina (Basically meaning "Butt Rina") I know this for reasons that shouldn't be questiondd.

LOL! This show was my childhood. However and the funny thing is, I watched it in English dub on TV as I live in Singapore and I watched the movies in the original Japanese audio starting from Ore Tanjou. Anyways, this show introduced me to some GREAT KR music and I loved them.

Real talk, I stumbled on the Climax Jump DenLiner Ver. Music Video years ago and the rest was history (lol). I've watched just about all of the Heisei Era and haven't stopped yet!

I can see Kintaros' bear influences in his behaviour - he sleeps a lot (like a hibernating bear) and has immense bear-like strength. Interesting fact about Zeronos' Rider forms - Altair and Vega are both names of stars, which ties in to his interest in astronomy. Overall I enjoyed Den-O - with the season having the same lead writer as ToQger I can see some strong parallels, with the characters, the equipment and the character arcs, but I found some of this season to be confusing, like when Hana became Kohana (explained outside of the show by the actress feeling over-worked, but not so much in universe), or how Airi knows about the singularity points. I've put watching EVERY season of Super Sentai on my bucket list, but after Gaim and Den-O I'm thinking I might have to add quite a few seasons of Kamen Rider on that list too.

Ryoutarou is my favorite main rider because he could exist in real life because he faces trouble that young adults like him face all day(except being stuck in a tree)(and just opening a door to another dimension and just being''welp let's go in this totally not suspicious desert from a city'')
