The History of Mortal Kombat from the Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance game. (Gamecube version) This version has a lot more content in it then the MK: Deception version.
Oww yeah, baby...😗 (And so, it seems *that one movie* was considered to be pretty mediocre at its best as well being inferior at worst when it compared to the *exceptionally cult-classic 1995 movie* that preceeded it right...😞)
And the moment *that mediocre sequel to the 1995 movie* gets brushed past as just a *single sentence* in the "Mortal Kombat 4" segment of this video was pretty natch to me...
07:37 And so, over the last decades: The "Mortal Kombat 🐉" *has become a legend in the arena of Fighting games* ⚔️🎮, and would be here for *years to come* ...😎 Scorpion 🦂: (spears the camera) " *GET OVER HERE* ...💀!"
I was born in 93 and quickly from age 4 starting playing Mortal Kombat originally on sega genesis. Now im 27, and Im beyond satisfied to see the growth Mortal Kombat has accomplished as the years has passed. One of the best growing franchise games in all gaming history.
So then, Sayian Pride. Did you still liked "Mortal Kombat" games these times yet? Well then, because this year (2022) marks the *30th/Pearl anniversary 🎂🎊 of Mortal Kombat 🐉 series* right now...
Exactly the same story for me (but born in 94) aswell, love that its still strong. Back when I was young in primary school, noone heard of mk etc but now the awareness of mk has shot up which I love
UNFORNATLEY THE FUTURE OF MORTAL KOMBAT IT IS END! THE FATALITY OF MORTAL KOMBAT11 IT IS VERY BRUTAL AND SUCKS THE NEW FATALITIES DISCRACE MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!!!
To be honest if it wasn't for the old school fans who actually saved mortal kombat from having controversy which the news tried their best to pull it out of sales
Triolgy was my introduction too mortal kombat and i havent look back i still play trilogy until this day ill never forget the day i accidentally did raiden uppercut fatality
I remember in 2002 when I was about three years old my dad bringing home a new game cube and a new game he called mortal kombat deadly alliance. Me and my brother seth were the first to play and I remembered seeing the movie and I thought li mei was liu kang because I skipped the opening cinematic so my first fight was a cat fight between li mei and sonya. Not only was it my first game but its remained my favorite to this day. good times.
Midway took a break because of the series’ overexposure plus with the popularity of arcades dwindling they wanted to focus on a project meant solely for home consoles. The end result was Deadly Alliance.
@@danielgoss6367 Well then, Daniel Goss. And *that's sounds pretty neat* too...😗 (And now, it's been *20 years have passed* since the "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance 💀" game have been debuted right now...)
Ah Deadly Alliance; such wonderful memories. Years since I picked up a game in the franchise, an excellent cast of characters (Reptile my favorite, made it despite his sucky ending in 4 :D!!!) , the unlockable features were fun, the story was awesome, and of course it introduced me to Adema which became my favorite band since I saw the Immortal video for the first time.
Man I remember this well. I use to watch it a lot and ask my uncle how was MK 1 and 2, since at the time I only owned Trilogy and Deadly Alliance. While my cousin owned MK4, it was great fun though. Hell even my mom whooped our butts in MK3. But these were the times. I missed early 2000s, Dark Cloud on PS2, Smash bros melee. MK Deadly Alliance, summer vacation were my cousins would come over and we'd play Mario Party 5, which came out the year after and Tony Hawk underground haha. geez I appreciate my child hood A LOT.
I remember playing deadly alliance as my first game in the series and wanted to play these old games so bad. Still haven't played 4 but have finally played 1 2 and 3 through my hacked Snes and the arcade versions to. Man they are hard as hell lol tho Deception and MK9 were great games to.
I cannot tell yall how many times ive watched this and the Deception version. My MK journy started back in 95 with MK3 that was my very first game i ever owned for SNES. To see how far MK has come is amazing. Hope yall are getting ready for Septemeber 19th!
I understand what you mean. Another fighter that needs to make a comeback is Killer Instinct. That game may actually rival Mortal Kombat more than Street Fighter ever could. I mean it's got blood & end of match finishers (usually result in death but there are light-hearted goofy finishers similar to Friendships & Bablities) like Mortal Kombat.
Well done, then...☺️ And so, your brother Austin have played "Mortal Kombat 4" and getting hooked to it since you was a little baby right 😗? Well then, that's just pretty awesome to see, especially since the *new Mortal Kombat movie* 🐉 last year and this year (2022) marks the 25th (Silver) anniversary 🎂🎊 of the *Mortal Kombat 4* as well the spin-off game "Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero ❄️" and "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation" movie too...👌
I was 9, it was all I wanted for Christmas.... such a good memory tearing off that wrapping paper and running upstairs to play it as soon as all the presents were unwrapped 😩 take me back
@@davidaward3696 Well played ya, Dave... And so this video was pretty recommended for some who's playing "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance" game 🎮 right...👍
My favorite would have to be 2 because i played it the most, and it reminds me of my childhood. :) But I really love 9 too... the gameplay is very smooth and fast paced!
@@youraveragejoe2 Well played, then... And so, because this year (2022) will marked the *30th/Pearl anniversary of Mortal Kombat 🐉 series* as whole...🎂🎊
Vs DC. 💩💩 9. Muy muy bueno 10.Meh 11.💩💩💩 Politicamente correcta
My dad bought me this game for birthday in 2002. I was staying with him that weekend, so had to wait until the next day to go home with to my mom where my Xbox was. I had no idea Midway stuff so many extras into the game. This mini-documentary, Adema's Immortal music video, the behind-the-scenes video, etc.
Buying coffins was a fun one too, I'd watch these videos once a day after getting bored of fighting, then check out the art work too, plus i bought the Brady Game Guide books to go along with,
Oww man, and they're had unfortunately skipped "Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero" (This is one spin-off game famous for introducing both *Quan Chi 💀 and Shinnok* 😈 to the series proper as well being the *chronological prequel for the entire series* as whole...)
I was 2 years old when deadly alliance released but when I was old enough to understand video games the first mk game i ever saw was Armageddon witch I was happy because it was like playing da,d, and Armageddon at the same time
i had this game for the old xbox I grew up playing this I was in my second year of highschool when the first mortal kombat game out . just love mortalkombat . not very good at but i still love it and mortal kombat 9 is freaking awsome
5:30 I love how they brush MK Annihilation aside. They just brought it up for the sake of mentioning it in the documentary, but clearly don't want to talk about it. Totally understandable.
Didn't like deadly alliance very much, but this vid was great, although calling MK4 "The mother of all fighting games" is a major stretch, even back then.
i remember the first the game i playd was mortal kombat 1 wen i was just 2 years old ever since that experience ive been hooked 2 mortal kombat i own every mortal kombat 2 date and toys
As much as I love Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter is the main reason fighting games thrive as much as they do back then and even now. SFIV reinvigorated the entire genre and was basically responsible for the large resurgence in fighters today.
@@caronjdawson3812 Well done, then. Because, this year (2022) definitely marks the *30th and 35th anniversary* 🎂🎊 of said two fighting game franchises yet...
