It sure is hard to find a St. Louisan who doesn't have a family member that worked for GM, Ford or Chrysler. It is amazing to think there is no auto manufacturing presence (unless you count Wentzville) in STL.
According to 1950 census my Father work for an auto manufacturer. But i have no idea who he worked for. He did buy a brand new 1950 fast back Pontiac....so maybe he worked at a Pontiac factory???
