I just find it so funny that Kit Harington goes from being an honorable knight type of character for like 8 years and then after 2 years, he's back in it.
I still laugh that in GoT the last time Richard Madden’s character Robb talks to Kit’s character Jon he tells him “the next time I see you, you will be all in black” and now we get this👏 better than the ending in the show 🤣
I don’t think Ajak and Ikarus are dead since in the comics they are recreated and they’re memories are just wiped, also plus Selma Hayek has additional contracts with marvel
Sounds like a really cool character. I'm sure Kit Harrington is gonna nail this one. Game of thrones now feels a 8 year long audition for him to land this role in the MCU.
He’s always been OP, he went up against Zeus and absorbed his lightning bolt, fought strange before, and he’s an underrated Scientist as he took Stark position as the scientist of the team in the 80’s. I see Dane as the Dr Doom of the Avengers
their probably are gonna announce something for black knight this friday for disney plus day but some say he is gonna be with the midnight sons cause of the eternals post credit scene.
When I got into comics was in the late 80s/early 90s, and Black Knight was one of the Avengers I remembered seeing around that time. Always liked the character, just always thought he was really cool.
Hm he has much more power with the ebony blade other than cut through things. What about the teleport? Not being able to be killed? Summon the sword? The black armor? Magic immunity and so on? If the Black Knight in the MCU gains some of this powers he will be top tier power level.
Dang, hadn’t heard of him. Been a DC kid since the 80’s. Black Knight seems like a dope character. Kinda like a darker, more interesting, Shining Knight. No disrespect meant towards Sir Justin by the way. Dude is a legend.
For Shield, he'll use it to defend innocent and bash bad guys For Staff, use it like a Bo staff and for Magic For Chalice, use it to contain evil spirits and manipulate them by using said Chalice
Black Knight was traded off to the Ultraverse in the 90s after Marvel bought them out. He was a primary figure there with Hardcase, Prime and Mantra. Sadly Marvel seemed to intentionally mismanage the Ultraverse causing it to buckle and fade into obscurity
So when did Dane swap his Ebony Blade for a light-saber? Y'know the one he used to kill the Supreme Intelligence? I remember that period. He could even put it in reverse (I think) and use it as a bludgeoning weapon.
Was always a fan of the Black Knight as a kid. I want to see them do him justice...but these days, it's always a money grab rather than taking the time and staffing to get the story right and stay true to the original content.
I never knew anything about “Black Knight!” Didn’t know there was even a character called “Black Knight.” I saw Eternals and don’t remember a character named “Black Knight.” The only reason I am here now is because I got him in “Marvel Strike Force” and he became my favorite character. He is so fucking good in that game it’s ridiculous. So he impressed me enough I decided I NEED to learn about his backstory. Pretty cool origin story!
Black Knight is no C lister this character is awesome sure it may be because his origins tie into Arthurian legend but this character is awesome and that scene in the film is awesome

Would it be awesome if we saw the Black Knight helping the Eternals fight against the Deviants with the Ebony Blade? Do you think he should be the leader of the next team of Avengers in the MCU?
I'll say no, they might have him part of another sub group with blade, that will probably work with avengers in their next thanos like problem, but not part of the primary avengers. But I could be entirely wrong
Definitely worth a mention/look is the Marvel UK Steve Parkhouse Black Knight strip, which first set the bond between BK and Captain Britain. If BK is connected to Blade, there's a good chance Captain Britain won't be far behind.
They should make the third doctor strange movie about removing the curse from ebony blade. Like Doctor Strange: The Curse of Ebony or something like that
Iron Man was not a B lister... C list is accurate. Probably the most popular Avenger, but that never used to be a very high bar. As far as I recall, it used to be: Spider-Man and X-Men - A Listers FF, the Hulk - B list Iron Man, Namor - C List There were others, but these are the only pre-movie ones I remember now.
