As the 80s start to draw to a close the gyroplane market had been re-energised and was really looking healthy. In part because there was great excitement and attention around microlight aviation starting with the flexwing community. We also saw the excellent WindRyder the F16 of gyroplanes!

Hi just from RU-vid I think it was their promo film sadly because of the age/time the quality is limited. Nice aircraft though

The Windryder video was filmed N.East of Denver. And some of the video is along the Flat Iron area by Boulder. The engine is a Rotax 532. The two gyros are the two prototypes. The one with aluminum tube main gear is the slightly earlier but it still worked well.. The blade is 29ft tip to tip. The target kit price was around $15,000 without engine.
