Good video. I've been interested in the area lately for a possible canoe trip with some new to camping people. Enjoyed the history of the area about the Native Americans.

Thank you! We canoed the entire St. Croix and Namekagon rivers. So much fun! Here's our last video in that series ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AmW9n6TYV2s.htmlsi=SR26bP-ROPN-pM_n

So you actually didn't go to the Indian village site, right? Instead you hiked west to the Mail Road and back to the campground.

I went there before going to the campground. Very beginning of the video I point it out.. when they built the dam it flooded out the village so it's actually under water now.

@@UpNorthAdventures I saw that. But that's on top. You didn't go down the hill to the water there, or did you? I've heard that part of the Kabemabe village site is flooded and part isn't. I've always meant to visit the spot, but never have.

If that's true, that's pretty cool and I would've checked it out. I just assumed it was completely submerged.
