History of Tim Drake - The Third Robin 

ok, Jason Todd has his own movie, Damien Wayne has his own movie, Dick Grayson is in both movies. does Tim Drake have his own movie? 'cause if he dosen't, he needs one.

I can't lie Tim is the best robin. Because Tim found that Bruce was not dead. He was just lost in the past

Tim has a very interesting origin, and aside from being basically a natural genius, he's arguably also the most relateable. I also love him a lot personality-wise. He's my fave Robin fo' sho.

The only thing I wanted you to cover was that he was trained by Lady Shiva when he went to Paris (which was NOT Bruce's intention). Because of his training with her, he is pro-efficient with the bo staff. You hint at it, but I think it's worth mentioning in greater detail.

To tell the truth, I believe Dick is the only person in the bat family fully capable of being batman, whereas Tim is pretty much the ideal robin and the equal to Bruce/Dick. As you said, hes too capable to only be a sidekick.

What I like about Tim is that he's level-headed and goes the long way when it comes to training.

I like how Tim drake is like a comic fan.if most super heroes were in the real world people would figure out who they are really quickly by using the obvious logic and that what Tim does.

My favorite character who has taken the mantle of Robin is Dick Grayson, but that is as Nightwing. When I think of MY Robin, that will always be Tim Drake. A Lonely Place of Dying is the story that not only got me into Batman, but comics in general. I bought 2 out of the 5 issues at a flea market and spent the next 6 months finding the others. Bruce was off his game and it was Tim's impressive nature, lovable personality, and ability to carry a story that helped me find my now-biggest hobby. As you said, Tim was the perfect Robin because he balanced the detective work with the physical aspects of the job and looked at it with a reverence that Dick and Jason's legacies established. Among my best friends, Dick, Jason, and Damian are all claimed as preferred Robins, but none of their arguments can dissuade my love for Tim as a wonderfully-faceted character and (imho) the superior Robin!

You kinda left out some of the best moments of his red robin run. Like taking down shiva, or manipulating captain boomerang into getting himself killed. Also how he took the mantle of red robin in the first place.Or when he beats 5 super powered assasins on his own by outsmarting them. Also a lot of his early runs where he took on all of batmans old villains and beat them solo, like freeze, and joker. Also i feel like you edited out the part where he outsmarts ras al ghul, because you kinda described all the events around that. Anyway, it was a good vid. Wish you didnt have such a punchable face tho.

I just love Tim Drake because he earned the right to be Robin and his gifted intelligence almost as smart as Batman. Tim’s a related character and he’s my favorite Robin but Dick Grayson/Nightwing is my favorite superhero but Tim’s a close second followed by Jason Todd at third.

I finished the Red Robin comic a few days ago and that comic singlehandedly bumped Tim up to the status of my favourite bat family member alongside Jason. Highly recommend it for anyone that wants to get to know the character more

Tim Drake was always my favorite Robin. He's the one I grew up with. I was a little kid when he was introduced and I was just beginning to make my own way as an adult when he moved on and became Red Robin so I feel like I grew with the character.

The Tim Drake Robin has always been my favorite Robin. I felt that who always made a great Robin as an acrobat and detective and personally when Damian was Robin I felt he was a bit of douche.

Love the video, even though I am way late. But It wasnt because Jack didnt believe Tim when he said he tried out for the team. He was proud of him, and confronted the coach, and thanked him for the opportunity he gave Tim, even though he didnt make it on the team. The coach said he never went out. And then Jack went home and found it when he suspected drugs made him lie.

Ive been a batman and robin fan since the 70s. After the mid 80s and me in the service i stopped with the comics. Now i know about nightwing, jason/robin/red hood and Damian/robin bc of the animated movies but i didnt know much about drake/robin/red robin!! Young man after watching this great history video of drake im up to date with all my robins. Thanks. Great job 👍cool t-shirt .

Even though I didn't know a lot about Tim before this, I always thought he was the best and my favorite Robin. Robin, but I like Dick Grayson as a character a little more than I do Tim Drake as a character. As in I like Nightwing a little more than Red Robin, but I do like Tim a lot more now.

Just a litte correction. Tim actually tries to persuade Dick that he should be Robin again, but Dick tells him that he can't go back. Batman taught him to be a man, and a man he is. Dick believes Tim doesn't understand how much hell and love Bruce put Dick through. Tim though knew that Dick and Bruce were in trouble and he believed Batman NEEDED a Robin, so he chooses to put on that uniform to help. Tim and Dick are both my favorite Robins. I see Tim as a combination of Dick and Jason. Dick wasn't just a physical Robin. In the old 1940's look, he helped Bruce with updating the Batcave. He knew forensics and computers just as much and did detective work as well. After all he was trained by the best, but Tim took it to a whole new level.

I think I followed all that. Except in the beginning. When you said that TIm out two and two together and figured out Bruce and Dick were Batman and Robin, did Dick then become Nightwing because it sounded like you said Tim replaced Jason Todd, not Dick.

Not too terribly important but out of the hodgepodge of people Tim was trained by, Lady Shiva was also among one of his trainers. And what did Tim Drake pose as when he was off with Batman to avoid questioning from his father? I know Terry Mcginnis sort of becomes this servant for him, but I havent read or heard of an explanation for Tim.
