@@mickac4073 Those who descended from french and african inherited the wealth of the french planters married amongst one another or the daughters or sons of foreign businessmen like germans. For example the pagenstecher Family, timmermann family etc. Thats why they are white today.
I once asked a light skin Haitians why do the news only show dark skinned Haitians running around shooting guns and never light skinned Haitians. The person said we live on the otherside of the island and dont associate ourselves with them ...i thought that sounded kind of racist.
His view of History is delusional. The cruelties practiced by the French were among the most brutal of all European colonies. The massacre of French in 1804 led by Desalines was almost complete and directed by him.
Your view on history is biased and one sided. The fact that your view of all European people is rooted in demonization and hatred shows delusion and contempt and racial hate. There is more to European descended people and their migrations and history than your narrow vision rooted in hate. - David Ritter
@@ForgottenFaces001 literally went white victim mode … did he lie …. If we thought all whites were evil we’d kill you . This isn’t a smear campaign it’s fact …. They were evil .
You're right brother. But he didn't deny the brutality, and it's not fair to put the entire weight of French colonialism on his shoulders just because he's white.
David Ritter is right, your view of history is extremely bias. And it’s obvious most your historical views doesn’t come from written literature. The foundation sure but everything else is just bias. What the French did to us The most brutal in the colonies yes but that doesn’t mean every white person is evil, that’s ridiculous. In those times you know what the best majority of white europeans were? They weren’t slavers they were peasants and had, absolutely nothing to do with any of that. Joe Schmoe the wheat farmer with two francs in his pocket, wasn’t sailing the slave ships. When the revolution was happening France couldn’t focus on Haiti. They were having their own revolution, we’re fighting multiple other nations in Europe, were busy with their *other* colonies, etc. They didn’t send a lot of men to Haiti so they enlisted help, one of the groups were Polish legionnaires. Long story short they flipped on the French, and joined us. After the war, Desalines who was known for not liking elite whites spared them, granted them citizenship, and even gave them land. Why? Because he was a smart man and recognize that not every White person is responsible for things that they’re governments (who would gladly let them starve and would constantly send them into wars for some Kings “glory”), do. You’re using the same logic races Americans use when they pretend most Black Americans are murdering gangsters when they spew out that stupid and skewed “homicide rate statistic”.
@@ForgottenFaces001 Well, the Haitian flag is over 220 years old, but Haitians still waive it correct? Please. Usually I don't respond to a person with a low I.Q. such as yourself. If that man really Rep Haiti Haiti, he would've said , "when we won the war". Haitians still to this day say " We were the first independent nation. We beat France and gained independence in 1804". They say this mostly to pay homage to their ancestors for the ultimate sacrifice their ancestors made to free them from slavery . Their ancestors paid with their life. This white dude can't feel that. So , please, do not ever respond to me again.
@@ForgottenFaces001 Thats why I think its a great thing that Foundational Black Americans are separating ourselves from the Caribbean, because we continue to warn yall about white supremacy, and how the dominant white society comes to seize power wherever they go, but yall don't listen. Look at how poor Haiti is, and yall don't care. Some of Yall spend so much time praising white folks for becoming Haitian residence, that yall forget about yall own people. Instead of coming for me, why don't you go after France for making Haiti pay France money, reparations for no reason?
@@ForgottenFaces001 make this clear. Haiti is screwd up and poor as hell. Do something about it and leave foundational black Americans alone. And, go back to your country that's supposed to be so good

@@ForgottenFaces001 forgetting the hugest influx immigrants that moved over was the polish which helped the fight the Independence for Haiti people forget that
@@garconworldwide8475 the polish were not migrants they were deserters of the french military. They were very very few in number. No more than 200 in the early 1800s. they are mention in this documentary. You are ignorant but thats ok. You can still learn.
@ForgottenFaces001 What you forgot to mention is that Polish/ Haitians fought together against slavery, they stayed in Haitians and helped Haitians people out. Lot of them died. I slso studied what happend in Haiti land, you folks were robbed by French and Americans, on top of that you have a corrupt government that doesn't do anything for his people.
