Zuljanah (ذو الجناح) was the horse of Hussain ibn Ali(as). Zuljanah was a very important character in the Battle of Karbala.
Presenting a full documentary about Zuljanah also know as DulDul Badshah in Urdu. the original name of Zuljanah was Murtajiz and Maymoon and the reason for it being named that way was because of its sound of neighing being sweet, furious and high making it different from other horses. It was purchased by the Prophet Muhammad(p.b.u.h). It features prominently in the traditional narrating of the story of the Battle of Karbala and it is thought to have been a white stallion.
Zuljanah is the most valuable animal in Islam because this one has a great history in Islam as a warrior of Imam Hussain a.s in Waqia e Karbala held in Muharram against Yazid bin Muawiyah .
Shaheed Zinda hein.. the quote in this scenario is well-fitting because now after 1400 we have neither forgotten our 72 shahid's of Karbala nor Zuljanah and zuljanah is respected by Muslims nowadays... Zuljanah is prepared by a few momins for jaloos and majalis happening especially by Shia belonging to fiqa jaffariyah in Islam.
In this documentary, the whole history of DulDul Badshah is covered and also told about how zuljinah is treated and respected in Pakistan and how our Pakistan army is contributing to this.
