I worked Lennox where some of our area bordered 77th Division. There was a DUi accident in LAPD's area. We called for LAPD who claimed their traffic units were tied up. I told them, I don't care who you sent but get them down here. When I worked Malibu, I caught a suspect wanted by LAPD for rape. It took 2 1/2 hours for LAPD to show.
