My father and father in law bought these. The parking brake only worked about 6- 12 months and then stopped. It really makes the machine dangerous in the mountains.
Hi Justin, great video! I live in north Idaho and have had my Hisun Sector 750 Crew for about two years now. I never had an intro tutorial, so lots of lessons learned over two years and would have loved to get this from my dealer! Thanks for doing the video!
This is a great video for new owners. I've had my Sector 750 for 2 years, and with respect to the blow-by issue, I found that a lot of oily crap was getting into my intake plenum, so I installed a catch can between the plenum and the crankcase vent hose. Interestingly, though, it seems to catch very little oil, but a TON of condensate...to the tune of a cup of oily water a month.
Also, after my problems with my Hisun Secter 550, I don't recommend towing a anything! Tow receiver or not. If it breaks, you just get the run around from the Texas Based Company!
Thanks for this video. I just purchased a 500 vector and the store provided very little useful information about the product. The manual also is very lacking in a lot of areas. Your video cleared up a lot of issues I encountered in only about 15 minutes of use. I wish we were closer to you, Kreps would be my dealer. One question if you will. It feels to me as though my front diff is locked in even though it is not selected. I can feel it binding in a turn and it really scrubs the terrain hard when turning. Can the lock hang up? Does it release via spring tension or by motor? They also give no information about sourcing a proper oil and air filter. I’m leery about all the no name stuff you see on Amazon. Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.
I am looking to buy a HiSun SxS. I have a few questions, such as: How many hours can I expect from the engine? How many hours can I expect from the drive line? I currently own a John Deere S xS that is 14 years old, still runs very well, but is getting a bit long in the tooth. Thabk you for any insight.
Will this machine operate on regular fuel and not recreational fuel? 87 octane with 10% ethanol. I do see the recommended is 91 octane or more. I am just wondering whether it will run without issues with regular.
Great informational video, thanks so much. There is one question I can't seem to find and answer for, what is the flat 12 volt plug in the " glove" box for? Looks like it could be for a 12V solar battery maintainer. Nothing in the owner's manual about it.
LOL, found it in another one of your videos. Battery tender it is. Guess by the time I'm done watching them all I'll have a fair amount of knowledge about my machine.
Fantastic video very helpful and was wondering a good aftermarket parts source ? Also is there an adjustment to ease putting into Reverse it’s difficult a lot of times otherwise fantastic unit 😉
Great info! Wish my dealer had told me about running in Low most of the time. I will now start doing that! One question. What do the numbers mean that are flashing up on the dash and alternating with the number of hours the vehicle has ran? Thanks very much!
My father has a Hisun sector and it will not change gears until he completely turns off the machine. Any idea what it could be? He paid a jackleg to change the clutch and he took $300 bucks and did nothing.😡
great video I learned a lot I have a question I have a HiSun 700 Had the oil and everything got it home and ran it when coming to a stop I her a scrapping noise any idea whys causing it. thanks curt
I have a 2020 550 with only 133 miles on it. I’m smelling gas and spotted a leak on my trailer and drive way. Being that it’s EFI I’m guessing I have to rule out a stuck float.. what do I need to look for?
Check the fuel system. Lift the seat, remove the covers. The fuel tank is on the passenger side. Follow the fuel lines until you find your leak & repair whatever is leaking.
Hey my 2021 Hisun Sector Crew 750 eps is over heating super fast, or hitting that 4th bar. Oil levels are good, coolant levels are good. I never really drive it over 20 so mainly in Low gear, not quite sure what to look for
I got a question I have a 2019 550 Colman and it's not wanting to crank less you hold down the gas pedal what would cause this any help would be awesome
I think the park brake is a terrible design. If you are on an incline and you have to stop and use the park brake, do we really want to let go of the brake? That's dangerous. A hand break is much more safer and easier to use.
Looking at buying a used 550, it has some issues (looks to have not been properly maintained) not sure if these are expensive fixes. I do all my own repairs on my farm tractors but these units I know nothing about. Wondering about the reliability? Is there a service/repair manual available? 1. Will not start with key, must jump the starter selenoid. 2. Has trouble going into gear. 3. Pulls to the left. 4. Runs but will not idle.
My dad has a 2022 Hisun 750 EPS Sector that has had steering issues ever since he bought it. It pulls to the left, or more accurately, it steers to the left and you have to fight it to keep it straight. He's taken it to the dealership and they have done a few things but the issue is still not resolved. Steering malfunction light is not on, fuse is good, front diff is unlocked. It's unsafe to drive! Any suggestions?
So when you let off the gas the one way bearing will slow you down to a certain point then release and will allow the unit to free wheel. It usually releases once your going fairly slow. If it’s releasing right away when you get off the gas I would be going after the one way bearing.
Nope, it keeps changing so I honestly don’t believe any date anyone says. But what I can say is Odes is advertising them so one wouldn’t think they are too far out.
