I paid $28 for mine on a coupon and discount. I don't get fluctuations on my speaker at low volumes on any genre of music. Yours could be a bad one. But bass mode does tone down the highs a little bit. But for inside the house, the bass is good and outside I turn the bass mode off and get a higher treble and volume for the outside listening like mode. But i don't know what genre of music you have the fading in and out you listen to, at lower volumes, but no issues here.
Doubt very seriously I got a bad one. I've run across this same type of issue with a Bugani speaker and an Oontz speaker in the past. One other one I can't remember. I bet if you turn the volume down to 20% or lower with certain songs you will notice the volume fluctuation.
I think I'll go ahead and miss that one lol. But seriously it's not a bad speaker. But I'm listening to My new JBL encore and everything sounds great through this speaker. I did notice one thing though. The third party EQ app doesn't sound good through this JBL encore so I'm using the JBL app that I'm supposed to use with it and it sounds great with its own app of course. I have the bass on deep lol. Yeah that little speaker wouldn't be bad at all for $40
Partybox Encore is a great speaker, but even with it being more portable than the Partybox 110, it's still a lot bigger to carry around or travel with than a smaller boombox like this AKONE.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I do agree with you on that. And it's a little on the heavy side. Fortunately the handle on it is pretty solid feeling and make it easier to carry. But to be honest with you, I wouldn't mind if it was a few pounds lighter lol
@@venomyt6614 the ones I bought them several years ago and checking on amazon.com they are no longer available. These look to be very similar. Link- amzn.to/483XgrH
