These guys really are fake as hell. They were celebrity guests at my sister's prom last year (their mansion is only like 30 miles away from us and they grew up even closer) and they basically stood in a corner and stared into the crowd, then left halfway through. Anyone who has actually talked to them, including my sister and her classmates, can confirm that they're total cold fish in person. Their early success with gymnastics on Vine was pretty cool but now that that's over, they've resorted to saying "hit it" and "lit" in a stoned-sounding voice against a regurgitated rap beat to try and maintain some facade of pop culture relevancy. The whole thing is so amazingly mediocre that it blows my mind.
