Sabitzer was a hit, he played well, he was better than mount was in that midfield, he provided more rigidity, could complement the dm and cm and ETH should have retained him

The mason Mount transfer is a miss for me based on all aspects; 1. The fee- he was available for free next summer so at 60mil this is his cut price value? So if he had 4 years left he’d be worth 100mil? Of course not 😂. He wanted out too so united should have hovered around 30-40mil TOPS. . 2. Necessity- ETH doesn’t seem to know how to use him? All that money for the bench? Him and Bruno won’t work together but Bruno doesn’t get dropped even when crap so bench it is then? 3. Player quality- some say he’s underrated some say he’s average, he’s a system player but united don’t have a system, also he’s been on a downward trajectory for Chelsea for a little while too.

The fact he's had to have so many loan players says it all about where Utd are at.

The players as an individual being judged as a hit or miss is Utds transfer problems in a nutshell. Sure Casamiro and Erikson are good ideas as individuals. But when you look at them in the team dynamic they don't make much sense. You've already got Fernandes who doesn't defend doesn't have the legs and you bring in an older version of him and an aging Casamiro you can't expect the team to function with energy and defensive accument. Then when you take into consideration they're shielding Evans and Macguire the issues become quite clear.

Casemiro was brought much like Varane to bring much needed big game experience as well as a title winning mentality.Think they are brilliant signings. As for the rest, most people commenting on here don't even watch United and know nothing about ETH style. They watch a hightlight reel on MoTD and all if sudden they think they can have a informative conversation. Makes me laugh, but it is clear to see what ETH is trying build. Injuires and the club stupid preseason tour messed everything up. As for Antony being a flop his 22 years of age. I don't care about his price tag thats the clubs fault if they think they paid to much ots on them. Far to early to judge. He has time on his side. He offers far more then previous United wingers, have in our recent past. Including Rashford and Sancho. We have far more balance when his on the right wing. His season last year wasn't terrible it was ok for a young player stepping up into what everyone calls the hardest league in the world. His second season is hindered not only by the obvious off-field issues, but also the team in general hasn't clicked, especially the attack. He tends to get most of the blame, much like Bruno. Whilst a certain other few individuals get support and backing. I hope we stick with ETH and Antony as well, i believe they will come good and make us a genuine threat in this league but its going to take time.

I believe you should show the guest’s club to give a better view of us the audience to understand the arguments made by them.If bias plays a factor when discussing about the team that they support as well as their rivals, because we don’t know all your guest’s football clubs and it might give a better insight imo.

we still haven’t seen a game plan from ETH, it seems like last season all they’d do it set up to be solid at the back and hope rashford/bruno do something special and a lot of the time it would work or casemiro would pop up with a goal. If u look back at arteta or klopps first couple seasons they atleast had a way of playing, they didn’t have the players to do it well enough yet but u could say give them time and it’ll work.

Casemiro and Evans are short-term fixes, not hits.

4th choice LB from spurs is madness, well it is what happens when your first two choice LB are out injured. It clearly was just a stop gap to cover injuries.

Antony was such an obviously terrible signing. At least with Sancho he was putting up genuinely world class numbers at such a young age, still a poor transfer but the logic is there. Antony scored 12 goals in the Dutch league and apparently that justified 85 million quid.

Not saying ETH is faultless, but alot of these points should be levelled at the club rather than him. Had months to start putting work in before he even arrived yet they sat on their hands. From failing to sign his priority targets to paying a premium for club's unwanted players, from failing to move players on or sign efficiently for the future, the club is failing yet another manager. Just look at the fact we paid £72M for a player that moved last year for £15M, when our ST was 37 years old going into the season & that Antony went from being rumoured at £40M in June to £86M when we signed him.

Most of them aren't bad players but the club is in a bad place so if you're a 7 or 8 after a month or 2 the club brings you down to a 5 or 6. Then you have clubs like Liverpool a couple years ago and every player that went there a 7 or 8 after a couple months the confidence pushes them on.

i look back at them signing antony for that price and just laugh, they could’ve got gakpo for around 50m a few weeks prior to getting antony who had better numbers and he could play as a striker aswell as a winger, meaning he and rashford could’ve developed a good relationship where they interchange in games based on the opponent. I know this whole sancho situation is crazy but at the start of last season i would’ve signed gakpo and had a front 3 of rashford gakpo and sancho

The biggest thing about Anthony is he hasn’t got the pace to beat a player so he rolls his foot over the ball a couple of times to make it look like he’s trying something and then just cuts back inside and plays a simple pass. How can the recruitment not see that?? How are other clubs able to sign quality wingers for half the price? Gordon at Newcastle is a great player, always making runs in behind, Diaby is quality and rapid, Liverpool brought Diaz in for pennies. Meanwhile Utd sign a winger who can’t get to the byline to cross into the box for the centre forward they bought as well 🤣 you couldn’t make it up

He is the problem, they are clearly judging most of the players for previous club's performances or just an individual talent, instead they should be judging if the player fits the system or not and so many players don't fit.

Find the criticism of Erikson harsh. Compared performances before and after Andy Carroll wrecked his knee - that's the only reason why he isn't considered a hit now Same with Casemiro and Martinez - only reason they aren't outright hits is because of injury. Can't really defend Antony. Just have to hope that given time he adds end product, which I think he will if Ten Haag can get a regular fit first team built around a consistent defensive lineup

Hi guys thanks for the show . I really feel sorry for Antony, he wont improve neither cant adjust on style of play, even Gordon of Newscastle is more of a threat than Antony. Ten Hag would have employed Mohamed Kudus than Antony. The rest will pickup well though injuries.

He had a great last season, but it feels like we are already seeing his age catch up with him, he just doesnt seem to have the energy needed for the role he was bought to fill. Extremely poor start to this season with game absences, and Man Utd have already begun looking for a replacement. For 70m I worry about his longevity
