I found the return home relatable in terms of the home town bar scene. We all know those people re-living the glory days. The relationship between mother and daughter is so on point. I loved that is was a different storyline than we typically see.

I love your interpretation of the movie you really have to take in consideration the actual storyline and accept the fact that a movie needs to have more then Tyler acting in it

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yes, we're looking for the total package, right? Great acting, Christmas feels, a solid story. (Kind of a unicorn, isn't it??) What's your all-time favorite??

I agree with you that Tyler Hynes should have had a bigger part in this movie. It really wasn't about Christmas but about two friends in their app business. I think Tyler should get back with Paul Campbell and Andrew Walker and make their own Christmas Hallmark movie. He is too talented to not have a bigger part in a Hallmark movie. I did appreciate his wardrobe and his handsome face. His voice is always hot and sexy. Please Tyler make better choices.

Yes I’m glad we got him in something this year but it wasn’t my fave. Unexpected Christmas is my favorite Tyler movie. What’s yours? - Jennifer

Yeah, This was a one time watch for me. I like what you said Josh that this movie could have been done in any other time of the year, and it would have fit in just fine. To me this wasn't really a Christmas Movie. I liked the parts of the Mom's reconciling, and I thought the 2 actresses were terrific and it seemed like they were having fun together. Then it just seems like they threw in Tyler Hynes-but it wasn't really his movie. I don't know and It felt like Hallmark duped us! lol. They could have just marketed it as a mother/daughter/friends story and I think I would have liked it more. Anyway...sorry for the long comment! lol. This recap was great!

Never apologize for a long comment! We love hearing what everyone thinks! Agreed - loved the girls together and would’ve been great if that’s all it was. 🍣 - Jennifer

The two women were like a couple of giggling, adolescents in high school. Seriously annoying. Tyler Hynes deserved so much better than this vacuous romp.

They did seem to revert back to their high school selves! I’ve sadly already forgotten about this movie for the season. Didn’t stand the test of time for me. - Jennifer
