Still works great with those bearings, not surprising! Glad that the Hitachi drives like this proved themselves to last and be durable, gives a good amount of confidence into picking one up if possible. Also hmmm do not remove the circuit board from the drive, curious when you get around to the post if that caution was void : ))
Yeah, seems like the DK32CJ-72MC right? Always hard to find pictures to confirm though... Really wish Hitachi's documentation for drives like this was easier to find.
@@bigbluebananabreaddid some research a while ago, and yeah they did make a 73gb 1.6” high drive, might go see if I can get one someday. (Wouldn’t know what to use it with lol)
