I would assume ownership of the excavator is several times as high as the ownership of a truck. So the excavator better work without delay other than maintenance. Goal is to move the materials away and not to minimise the idle time of the trucks. The same concept also applies to how much materials shall be loaded on a truck before sending it away. Often 3 scoops are not completely filling a truck, but it doesn't make sense to waste a full cycle to load maybe 1/3 of a scoop more onto the truck and the rest doesn't fit anymore. Then the overall productivity is better to fill with 3 scoops and send the truck away. It's about an 25% more materials that can be moved by not wasting a full load cycle to only load an additional 1/3 of a bucket. Internet experts often call out operators for not loading the trucks completely. These kind of backseat wanna be operators often don't consider the overall performance of the mine and tunnel vision with absolute precision on the irrelevant things.
Are you working at this mine? Do you have access to the maintenance logs of these machines? How can you come to this conclusion? Is this kind of hidden advertising for your channel, making yourself more important than you are? I don't like one-liners with the intention to provoke or make people curious to the point switching to your channel.
