Have a question for all you Hitachi guys. I've been hauling gravel for 33 years here in Alaska now. Here in Alaska the excavators seem to be either Cat or Hitachi and its about 50/50 and I've learned to respect both machines as being reliable. One thing that has never been answered for me is this: I've noticed on some of the Hitachi excavators from the 1990s the word "Super" will be on the side of the house, is this an extended reach or some sort of electronic enhanced control? Id really like to know what the "Super" signifies as I see it all the time. Thanks!
He's ok, he needs to stop bottoming out the cylinder it will start leaking if he keeps doing that? & fill the bucket up! it would speed up production! in time he will get better.
