I never saw this film until now and I've seen almost the full of Hichtcock Opus but never this one. It needs to be said that Hichtcock hadn't this movie on great appreciation but I really appreciate your kindness loading this movie on RU-vid. Thanks so much 👍

I haven't finished it yet but I just have to say the hat throw and catch at 26:34 is great! I wonder how many takes Hitchcock needed for that scene.

I started watching this in the middle at random and this is the scene I found: 27:34. A funny sight gag wickedly done There are scenes throughout the film as memorable.

Definitely an oddity in the Hitchcock canon, between BLACKMAIL and THE 39 STEPS. But you can see elements here that he would employ in later films, including the cuts in the orchestra scenes.

Encore une espèce de commande, version romancée de la conception du Beau Danube bleu par Johann Strauss père et (surtout) fils. Une comédie romantique qui traite de jalousies, de rivalité entre générations, la plus âgée devant laisser la place à la plus jeune… celle qui innove, qui prend des chemins de création inédits. Mais sans oublier ce que les aînés ont apporté. Beaucoup de gags visuels très drôles, cependant.
