Because he's giving you a Wikipedia version of history here. He is leaving out a great deal of significant details. While the Nazis were violent, they had significant support in Germany. They didn't win elections solely because of any kind of voter intimidation. Life had been pretty bad all the way from 1914 to 1933 for most Germans. Unemployment and starvation was rampant, they were occupied by the French in the early 20s with them stealing resources and a lot of other details are left out.

The Versailles treaty bled the Germans dry. The globalists set Germany up for hitlers rise. He was funded in part by Americans. War is money. Follow the money. Behind all of that destruction people were becoming vastly wealthy. The war was created and orchestrated by the globalists.

Hindenburg was very old at this point it was more von papen who got hitler to be chancellor as he foolishly thought he could be a "lion tamer" to Hitler.
@jasonsingh9698
@jasonsingh9698 3 года назад
Yeh I agree, Von Pappen pressurised Hindenburg to make Hitler chancellor by giving him two choices. Either the army would march or that he would make Hitler chancellor and himself vice- chancellor. So that both Hindenburg and Pappen could use him as a figure head and control him. But, they were wrong.

The Germans also were not used to democracy. It may sound strange to one born in Democracy, but these people were born in a country firmly controlled bei their Emperor, and it was a good prosperous time and a good life in this empire. Weimar republic was a bad first experience with democracy. Violence on the streets, government completely helpless against the entante powers. People wanted back a good strong leader like they were used to. Hitler offered that, stood up against the allies etc.

In some ways, yes. The main difference is that America's nightmare is neo-liberal fascism (which we are beginning to see). An authoritarian ruler and rubber-stamp party/legislature allied with corporate elites to give the appearance of democracy but actually none. Elimination of political dissent by effective control of the media character assassination through comparison to leftists. Mass consumerism distracts the people and encourages them to pursue solipsistic dreams of 'making it big' to the upper class, with token representatives of all classes there to give the illusion of social mobility. Unregulated free market dominated by oligopolies and government-backed subsidies/policies which crushes the lower classes. Yep, that's where we're headed unless people fight back.

He said that only some consider nazi party to be far right. Genuine question, why do some people not consider the nazi party to be far right?
@graciedrake1205
@graciedrake1205 4 года назад
Because the nazi party is both ultra-nationalist and anti-capitalist. Right-wing usually consists of them being capitalist AND nationalist. It makes it difficult to put them into a particular wing so most people just say far-right. Hope that makes sense :)
@The_WatchList
@The_WatchList 2 года назад
Personally speaking, I'm not entirely sure why people do so. I actually find it to be misplaced. One can be a nationalist and be apart of a communist regime. If a person were a deep, ardent communist partisan in the 1940s and loved the USSR and everything it stood for to the point of joining Stalin's purges of others by volunteering.. Then that would be as easily nationalistic as a Nazi who volunteered for the same duty, but in Germany. I use the extreme example for simply reference, but does the idea come across well? One can be a nationalist, but for left wing or right wing causes. If one was to think about that and mix in the fact that the Nazi's economic policy was left wing.. Then it would make more sense that the Nazis were a left wing group. Add race and then things get dicey. Usually to include race would put a classification under right wing, but yet everything else about the Nazis was left wing. Personally speaking, I don't know where to put them in the political map, but I don't think I'd consider them far right personally

There's currently a guy in my country (South Africa) named Julius Malema who has similar attributes to Hitler. He's very charismatic. His public speaking skills are incredible and he's has far left wing policies. He's 32 years old now but was the most influential person in South Africa at age 30 years old when he was re-elected as president of a youth wing of a ruling political party. At the moment he's in the political wilderness after he was expelled from the ruling party. He'll be a dictator.

Van der Lube, whom I always heard was an anarchist, probably did it, but Hitler would have found some pretext to do what he had already planned. It was the same with Kistallnacht. Stalin was co-operating with the Nazis in one form or another from a pretty early date.

That wasn't really "Marshall Law". They had to keep people at home for their safety. It was only for a short period of time. What if people had been out and that guy had blown up more bombs or taken hostages??? They had NO idea if there were more bombs. So is that worth it for them to make their own choice to leave their home or not?
@chris.18045
@chris.18045 2 года назад
"Marshall law"? Is that like TJ Max law, but more expensive? Btw: the fire was due to arson and not a bomb, the suspension of civil rights for a "short period of time" lasted 12 years, and didn't (nor was it intended to) keep people from leaving their homes. Also, how does prohibiting left wing publications or arresting political opponents fit into your idea of keeping "people at home for their safety"?

I don't know how any english speaker would read out "reistark" to sound like the german "Reichstag" in any way. You completely left out the "ch" (which Sal got right btw.), and I have no idea where you got the "r" in "tark" from. If Sal would have read the "tag" like the englisch word "tug", he would have been pretty close to how it's pronounced in german (I should know; it's my first language). Now please tell me, how your version of the word could be pronounced that way?

I live in a small town and my grandparents bought a Jewish house in 1936 and paid it off normally until 1962. My grandparents' punishment is that, as their grandchild, I am severely bullied and discriminated against by the people in the small town. The landlord Berthold Kremser always says with words that Frithjof Schneider belongs to Auschwitz because he is homosexual. This is the Nazi time of today in Bad Camberg. The citizens of this town never telepathize at me and then say that if he telepathed he would be mentally ill.

Khan's explanation of Hitler's rise to power fails to see the forest because of the trees. Khan explains the mechanics of Hitler's rise but makes no mention of the powerful interests behind Hitler's rise. A revolutionary situation broke out in Germany at the end of World War I. Sections of the German Army defected to the side of the revolution and other sections of the Army remained loyal to the Army hierarchy. The section of the Army still loyal to its hierarchy was reorganized as the Freikcorps. The Freikcorps were ultra right wing death squads and they managed to prevent a socialist revolution in Germany by killing the revolutionaries. Hitler supported the Freikcorps. Hitler convinced German capitalists that he and his Nazi party could protect capitalist property threatened by revolution. It was big business interests the ones that funded Hitler's rise to power. Hindenburg (the German General that appointed Hitler to the chancellorship) was just the attack dog of German big business.

Read Henry Ashby Turner's Big Business and the Rise of Hitler. There is no evidence of organized Big Business support for Hitler until after he had been appointed chancellor in January, 1933. The Ruhr business fund, German employer's association, and the IG Farben poltical fund all refused to support him and actively sought to undercut his support by funding rival parties on the right. Until at least 1932 Thyssen was the only capitalist of note that backed Hitler and even then he was not a member of the party until 1933. At least 3/4 of the party's revenue came from membership dues and speech tickets according to Drucker's the end of economic man. National Socialism was a movement from the bottom up, not the top down.

While Bush was elected regularly (not so as Hitler), but with an enabling act after 11th September (like the Reichstag fire), he was awarded a Presidential power that previously did not exist and since people losing their constitutional rights step by step.
