Most of the problems of the world today are caused by their thoughtless and aggressive military and colonial expansion. The U.S. follows in their footsteps.
@@sagarpednekar7960 - My comment got deleted. I think I said the British definitely ruined and impoverished India and much of Africa. Somehow they didn’t have that much to do with the countries south of the U.S., although they heavily exploited the Caribbean. They even destroyed Easter Island and then blamed the indigenous people. The Brits brought sheep there that ate all the vegetation!
@@sagarpednekar7960 - Every problem in the Middle East for more than the past 100 years can be traced back to the British Empire’s meddling in the world. Indeed, the problems it created extend beyond just there.
🙄 This hacky comment you see everywhere your entire life. Yet it doesn’t stop anything. Just gives people better plans for next time. 😂 I mean I’m so many levels it’s a stupid way to think. Look how many times this has been proven false and rinse & repeat.
Even after making and watching all these documentaries we haven't learned a single thing from them and keep on repeating the same things and evil. I hope one day we all are more inclined towards peace.❤️ 💔
People who decide the fate of others are evil to the core and cannot learn anything from anything. Their goal is to do evil and push the world into ruin.
@@dineshbh3837 Hamas is literally the 4th reich.. just smells worse, has no technological breakthroughs, strategic thinking, or military capabilities.. Same goal tho.. The least they could do is dress nicer.. At least the old ones wore Hugo Boss lol
The same conditions that lead to WWII are happening again. Governments around the world are badly failing as wealth inequality reaches breaking point and concerns regarding mass migration have been continually ignored. Was always eventually going to become violent and revolutionary.
revolutionary stuff is not inherently evil, though facism is revolutionary too. But know that it was always moderates and the status quo that has allowed these conditions to arise.
No i disagree theres one difference earlier during World War 2 times information was very limited general people just believed what they were told but today you can fact check whatever is fed to you also earlier there was no concept of Global economy but today a war anywhere will hurt the business of Google and others at silicon valley so the powerful will try to avoid war at all cost cuz it's all about business these days.

Please watch Europa: The Last Battle before you watch this documentary. I want people to have two sides of the story instead of hearing constantely from one side. History is written by the victors. Remember that!
There needs to be some high budget series about the entire war and from all different perspectives. Like Game of Thrones style. With good actors and CGI and covering all the major events of the war. Idk why there hasn’t been yet. It’s the greatest story in modern history
@@firstofitskind I couldn’t get through more than a couple episodes. It’s not real history and half the show is some dumb sci fi storyline about magical film that must be kept safe
I been thinking about that for a long time, and release it in movie theaters. The history channel tried to do something similar to that with The World Wars.
@@thesportsdad such a long story though with so many major events it might have to be a series instead of a movie. First two episodes can cover WW1. Next episode the rise of H*tlers popularity and his party’s growing influence. Next episode the Nanking Massacre and the spread of Imperial Japan. Etcetera
Damn right, never forget the Allies beating the Axis of Evil in WW2. When the good of humanity came together and rose up to fight and defeat evil. I love these documentaries. It also shows nazis/racists/homophobes/facists to keep hiding under their rocks and is a further reminder to them that humanity and the good of the world would beat their evil again.

I absolutely love that this was put together. It is very much needed especially in today’s time, but seeing this makes me wonder why they don’t put together documentaries about the US and slavery of black/African ppl. Slavery needs to be examined and taken just as seriously. The truths need to be told. Truths about the treatment and psychological damage done, truths about the burning and burying of successful black cities once slavery ended as well. In today’s time it is hard not to believe that ppl would love to see black ppl back in chains. This part of our country’s history needs to be learned from too so that it is also never repeated for anyone not just black ppl.
And why there are no documentaries about slavery in Africa. About all the African countries that willingly sold their own people to others and fought the British against abolishing slavery for years?
Why not make a few documentaries on colonialism too? It’s not like Nazis were the only wrong persons at that time. Britishers were too committing horrendous crimes and atrocities in India and other colonies. So, why not cover that too? Or maybe we are not “white” enough for our pain to be significant?

Would be great but also there is very little in terms information about this. No camps left, not many video recordings or photos from gulags. The main source of information comes from the survivors and still majority of them decided not to talk or write about what they experienced. Holocaust and crimes against other populations in WWII were quite well documented, because Germans loved paperwork, people took photos and made recordings and victims wrote and hid diaries and other evidence which could be smuggled as it was all happening in civilised centre of Europe. Majority of Russia is uninhabited with villages scattered every few hundred kilometres. How any evidence can survive that way?

I as a German, Am tired of having to hear all this from an American perspective, when they cant even translate his speeches and motives right. It is time to bring out a documentary from a German perspective about WW2.
What exactly is not evil about today that didn't happen back then, why does the media call this guy the greatest evil to ever exist, does that make sense?who exactly is good and bad,we are all justfying evil all the same, only one has the media power to put out their ideology because they won the beef 🍖, think for yourself, it's the zigus of ths time
When I see a documentary with the same intensity referring to the Allied bombings on German cities with hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians dead, then the historical memory will be correct!!! But for now....
King Leopold killed around 5 million Congolese (just an estimate it could be more) and you still silent about that where is the documentary on that. Are African lives not important ?

No, the people who are committing genocide now aren't the same people who were victims of it back then. The people who are committing genocide now are corrupted by power.
It’s no bait, it’s been said time and time again. Its repetitive. It’s just happened to land on Netflix. They always try to retell history in new ways. Is not that deep of a conspiracy looney tune.
Why don't you ask Netflix to make a documentary on "Germans genocide" or "Japanese genocide" during WWII? Oh, wait, I forgot, this is "different". When 125 000 Germans die in three weeks during the Battle of Berlin, you conveniently refrain from calling it "genocide". But when 35 000 Palestinians die in 6 months (according to the numbers reported by Hamas, who claimed that 400 women and children were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a hospital, until it was discovered that the "Israeli airstrike" was, in fact, a malfunction of a rocket launched by Hamas, and the said rocket fell on a parking lot near the hospital, damaging a couple of autos), you start screaming about IDF being literally Wehrmacht.
As a popular saying goes: "History is not always black and white". It is wise to see & understand from pure different perspectives as told by each party themselves, without being clouded by our own assumptions / cultural norms where we grow up in / judged using many of today's popular views
Odd that the British colonial period is so reviled, and yet life in many of the countries the Brits colonized was "better" relatively speaking for many people back then than it is today.
