I know this is a late reply, but I generally think of the Bunker as Hitler's personal hell, being stuck in a small building with everybody he hates and no way to leave, and on top of that he keeps getting inconvenienced by stuff like being banned from Xbox Live.

@HAYDS510 also, the whole point it is subscription is so the quality of service can be better. Yes it would be awesome if XBL was free, but is anything that's really good ever free? The subscription allows Microsoft to continually improve the quality of service (such as a recent update that drastically improved headset audio) while Sony continually cuts corners cause almost no money is coming in from it.
