That last line hurt bad, "Stargate is over." :'( In my opinion you cant say Any one of the series was better than the others, they're all their own shows in a way, I have to say I love every single Second of Stargate from the original film to the (unintended, Fuck you SyFy) end of SGU, love it all, forever. @BringBackSGU
sometimes i still find myself not believing that its all over, and hoping that maybe they will return to it and at least give SGA a decent ending... call me a dinosaur :) (i am 22) but i miss this kind of show, this a bit goofy, a lot funny, light show with unrealistic characters good for whumping and squee and aww, with a lot of blowing up stuff, space battles and at least half cool special effects... its sad to see that go
It's what happens when one vain, entitled "artist" like Brad Wright and his toady friend Joe bore the snot out of people with 17 episodes before actually getting to anything worth watching. By then, it was too late and SyFy was already eying SGU for the chopping block. Still, there are so many conflicting stories as to what will happen now (if anything). Some believe the franchise is dead, others think that Spyglass is waiting for Wright and Mozz to finalize their departure before retooling.
