Yeah, there are many ways to light the bonfire. Shooting the metal rim on the fireplace also creates a spark, which is enough to light it. My favorite is that, even though triggering the "ignite" interact with the touch is an illegal action (without the right disguise), both picking up the torch and throwing it into the bowl are legal actions.

@@JulianHayes-xt8wp no, I checked, lighting the bonfire by throwing the torch is not considered an illegal action in master mode either

​@@AaronTheGermanit used to be on a previous patch I'm sure. I uploaded a video to my Tiktok showing how to do this a while back, and I had the exact same back and forth with a commenter. The thing is: I would never have known or used the flare to light the fire had it always been legal to pick up the torch. So I'm pretty sure they changed this at some point, because I remember it being illegal to pick up the torch too
