I remember the developers saying they didn’t make any of the levels intended to be able to do Suit Only runs, they just put the challenge in there and figured players would just figure it out somehow. That’s confidence in your sand box game design
I'd personally say Cutscenes vary from game to game. In 1 it was short and detailed cutscenes, in 2 it was mostly still images. In 2's expansion and 3, the cutscenes were longer and animated, but the quality dropped. All-in-all, i prefer the cutscenes from the first game. Detailed, high quality, short and concise.
@@br1ghtf4ll80 it’s bc in hitman 2 they laid off a bunch of employees when their publisher bailed on them. But then WB games decided to pick it up to publish it and thank god they did.
@@benmooney280 Honestly, Idk why their publisher would bail. IOI definitely stepped up to the plate w this trilogy, it has set a precedent that future Hitman titles will have to attempt to overcome much like Blood Money
Its wild how you can see their massive budget for the story for Hitman 1, how it suffered in Hitman 2 after their split, and how it basically went in the middle for Hitman 3
well it was basicallh Square Enix pulling the strings for Hitman 1 until it left for Hitman 2. If they did not, Hitman 2 would be better than ever, probably getting two GOTYs
@@AverseWheat3 The thing is that Square Enix was no longer interested in investing in the series, which is also the reason for the split. And quite frankly, the outcome was probably the best one possible. IO became independent, got to keep the Hitman franchise, and because they were getting all the money from the sales, they were able to grow and develop the third one. Now they're working on a Bond game, which could put them way up there with the big AAA independent studios.
this felt like watching a full length movie, especially with the soundtrack in the final level. Thanks for making this and I look forward to seeing how quickly you can beat the next hitman game too.
The Apex Predator mission is by far the coolest one in my eyes. Agent 47 against other ICA operatives who are supposed to be on his skill level yet are no match not even in numbers. It's the silent badass type of mission that just makes the series for me.
2 hours of inter-level cutscenes. 30mins of in-game unskippables 30mins of actual gameplay. Meanwhile the rest of us spend 3 hours on Casual. Per level.
Depending on the level, it might even be more.. I think the first time I played it, I spent roughly 2.5 hours on Death in the family, sometimes just walking around looking for all the clues lol
@@I3urton I have also started this approach, before i kinda just walked trough the level trying to find the target and then shot them while mo one was directly seeing me now i look trough the level and find stories and try to avoid casualities
Grey is fantastic, he establishes himself as a mainstay of the trilogy and becomes as memorable as 47 or Diana despite them having a whole saga behind them
2016’s cutscenes were absolutely breathtaking, they look straight out of an actual film. It’s a shame that SE pulling out crippled the possible budget for the next two, imagine what the cutscenes could’ve looked like.
I love that his gameplay style makes it look so simple that it's more like a good assassins film and a boring game to play. Really felt like watching a movie, awesome work.
One of the greatest video game series of all time. After Silent Assassin, Blood Money and Contracts, I played Hitman 2 directly during COVID 2020 and realized how cool the game has evolved into. Later I revisited Absolution and finally Hitman 3. A special part of my childhood has ended. Will miss you Agent 47 till we see you again.
Never seen that strategy for Paris before. Normally the main idea is to drop a chandelier on novicov by distracting his body guard w/ a coin, then shooting a chandelier that hits dahlia from the helipad.
@@maxi45tours12 i feel that man, I’m just tryna get mastery level max on all maps from 1-3 so I’ve been watching a lot of mr freeze 2244 pr whatever the numbers are lmao. Im at 346. I took a few month off from hitman after 1 and 2 and then 3 released and ive been doing a lot of the challenges as well
Lol, I like that you can just bugger off at the end of The Ark Society mission without bothering to grab the failsafe switches or the Constant and literally the next scene is him magically captured and extracted to your base anyway. Certainly makes missions easier to complete. "47, you MUST get the deactivation codes for the ICBM headed towards the capital or millions will die!" 47, sniping the enemy general in the head from a mile away: "Nah, that sounds boring." Leaves. "47, you're a GD hero! You've saved millions of lives!"
Man, I remember playing the old HITMAN games back in the PS2 era, and this World of Assassination Trilogy brings back so many memories. Great franchise and great work, I loved it.
I’ll miss hitman. I’ve played all the games and now that I’ve completed the world of assassination trilogy I just feel sad. It’s the best game I have ever played. The ending actually made me cry.
If you don’t mind the graphical downgrade and a bit of out dated mechanics you can play the original games (4 games excluding absolution) on PC. Tone of the game is way darker, with 47 being more akin to an Angel of Death rather than a gimmicky trickster killer.
I always do SA/SO runs on master after playing the map multiple times as I'm doing other challenges. Been completely successfully without watching any yt vids, I'm almost done with season 1.
Sorry I wasn't able to accompany you longer during the premiere, but you definitely slapped it on this run~! Looking forward the ET run and the Bonus missions as well. You rock.
The music in this game is some of the best I've heard from video games imo. I'd love to see a television series based on this trilogy with each season following each game's first and last mission just to hear the music play in it.
Around hitman 2 their developers dropped the project. It's why a bunch of cutscenes in 2 are just pictures. I'm just glad they were able to release a good game.
Great video and many hours spent on this game. I like how you killed at target at 32.08 with a golf ball, with the target standing above you on the next floor.
How did you get Silent Assassin in Paris, even though a body was found after you tranquilised a guard? I love your channel and your playthroughs, by the way! You're really good at this!
What were you aiming at in Paris? I saw the two red targets but it looked like your cross hair was a floor above and covered by branches. Is this just the sway?
Outstanding Gameplay! I don’t know if there is a world championship competition 🏆but if there is you would certainly be in the top three. 🥇🥈🥉This compilation was the most entertaining gameplay I have ever enjoyed. Thank You for all the hours you put into its production.
Thank God they removed the electrocution phone. For newcomers: the Electro Phone (or the most OP weapon ever) functioned the same as the explosive phone. Place it front of a target, they pick it up & you detonate it from anywhere in the map. The issue was - the explosive & flash phone both prevented easy 5 Star Ratings from their uses. Explosive kills normally resulted in discovery & the flash phone has to be used very particularly to kill a target in a moment of opportunity. The electrocution phone however counted as an accident kill. An accident kill. You could essentially break elusive targets as a concept. It meant a guaranteed accident kill. So for example Hokkaido on Mastery became an absolute joke. Explosive ball to the wall, drop phone for Yuma, level over.
Keep in mind, speed runners can beat the entire trilogy in a time faster than how long it took AJ to beat all of the levels in Hitman 2016 without trying to speed run. Not trying to take anything away from AJ. This is still very impressive and it takes a lot of work.
i love how 47 just immediatley escapes on a plane, like no one would notice him sitting there for 10 minutes doing the startup procedure (its a game i know)
bro the only time i saw you mess up a tiny bit was the snow mobile exit switcheroo, but I also did that so many times already I can't even be mad about that one. Excellent run
I've got the Definitive Collection Hit Man Game here at home and I'm learning all about this one . my thanks for the videos and learning about unlocks within .
Your Channel is one of the best creative Assassinations in the world and I learned a lot from Psycho Kills to Silent Assassination Kills connecting to the objectives in just the suit only method. Saving the syringe was somehow unique if it turns out another contingency plan is needed
Man went out of his way to kill Edwards in the most violent fashion available, then unceremoniously dump both him and the murder weapon straight onto the tracks.... I'm sensing a grudge XD
Watching AJ Nguyen (can I call you AJ Nguyễn?) play the triology (I mean trilogy, I know English) makes me doubt the intended play time for these games. Also, it is quite interesting to see the similarities and differences between them.
Lucas Grey deserved better. Also, I really appreciate how they made the Constant, a very powerful and dangerous man, look so normal and unassuming. Wven his voice is normal sounding. Like, you could walk by him on the street and never even know. So cool.
This would’ve made a good movie, as in the plot in this game. It has good twists, action, and suspense even. Of course, this suit only run doesn’t make it as compelling, but the point is the same.
Op is On Bangkok Me; “oh he’ll have to figure out something clever here, there’s no way he’ll get close to either without exposing himself” Op at 32:09 Me; “wut..”
