Andy, Jane and Mike have devised three on-brand featured contracts (available now!) for Hitman 3's Season of Sloth. In this third and final contract, ICA client Mike has commissioned Hitman Andy to assassinate the entirety of the Dartmoor level's Carlisle family, with a very noisy shotgun, without ever changing out of a highly conspicuous clown costume. @@AdrianColley If you really wanna take a quick joke made in the youtube comments that far you can. I prefer to think of the number of dead that he's responsible for. Every time he puts Joker back in Arkham, knowing full well he got out before and most likely will again, and he WILL NOT REFORM; Batman is responsible for the deaths the Joker causes after that inevitable escape due to his instance of leaving dangerous lunatics alive.

I did the Patient Zero mission that's set in Sapienza how Mike did it (both targets in the graveyard, so you can take them out at the same time) and it was so difficult that I resolved to never play like Mike again.

@@burrito4332 Yep. I've managed to get away while in the process of dying, but most of the time as soon as I'm in combat I just load a previous save or restart the mission. In this one, one of my attemps resulted in me hiding in that downstairs bathroom by the library and shotgunning a lot of guards. I had a pile of probably 15 or so corpses in the doorway and hall before I got killed. On the attempt that actually worked I managed not to kill any non-targets, but I got spotted a bunch and ended up with 2 stars. At that point I was perfectly fine with that score because I'd had enough of the contract by then.

Andy completed that in true Andy fashion: by adhering to the letter, if not the spirit, of the contract. I really should have seen it coming. I do kind of want to see videos of Mike and Jane doing this contract, to finish out a 3 Ways to Play on it. That way we could see a run done in the full intent of the contract along with a possible middle ground run.

The most “Mike” I’ve ever gone was in the Paris level when I needed to kill someone with the sabre for some reason I holed up in a storage room and literally gunned down every guard that came at me and just kept taking guns from their piled bodies. This was all in service towards getting me close to my target while carrying a giant sword you can’t hide without getting killed, so worth it I guess?

I've watched someone get Silent Assassin on this map, and it seems like a key strategy is to kill people with the shotgun close enough to a hiding box that you can get them in there and hide yourself before anyone even arrives on the scene. But let's see what Andy does Update: less body-hiding than I was expecting, but good show from Andy nonetheless

Yep, same strat as a Hitman 2 Escalation on the Miami level that made you kill the targets with a specifically non-silenced shotgun and would insta-fail if any bodies were found, plus you had to do it dressed as a food vendor and couldn't pacify anyone. It took me so many attempts to pull that one off.

I can handle ones where I have to avoid the cameras or wipe the footage in 2 minutes, but not being able to pacify anyone and bodies being found being an insta-fall would ruin me.

I saw someone get it by having 2 tranq guns unlocked. I didn't have 2 unlocked, but I followed their route and managed 2 stars because of getting noticed a bunch. At that point I just wanted to actually finish the contract regardless of the score because I'd failed so many times before.

Something I've noticed from this series: Mike has a much better grasp of the limits of NPC perception, and knows just how brazenly you can stroll by people unnoticed. On the other hand, "Doors close, ahh!"

@@poodlemuffin It took me forever to complete it. I kept starting at the back and it kept locking up when I tried to move from the Garden area into or past the house. Switched to a front approach and inspired by Mike's Sloth contract, I killed every staff member on my way through until only the family were left. Knocked them out and arrayed them in the main sitting room with a pair of gas canisters from the kitchen and finally got my success.

I found it by far the easiest. All you have to do is not change your outfit and shoot five people. The others had much more specific requirements that insta-fail you if you mess them up. I.e. stab the target with the Screwdriver instead of throwing it.

This gives me an idea for a challenge (maybe a Christmas challenge?): complete a Hitman level while killing as many people as possible. Because there can't be any witnesses if no-one is alive to be a witness *taps forehead*

I think after the Hokkaido Patient Zero mission, they were asked about doing that kind of challenge, but said it just gets harrowing after awhile of just mowing people down. It would be funny to see how frustrated Andy would get, having to commit a bunch of non target kills, though.

Mike should've tried giving Andy the challenge of killing the targets on Isle of Sgail without being seen, while wearing the knight armor and killing them with the medieval weapons
