Fun to see this game today. Obviously the graphics and many other things are dated now, but this game was just so groundbreaking. Amazing piece of work.
1:11:56 - You don't even have to kill those bodyguards. Get dressed as a bellboy, jump the balcony to Fuch's room and then just crouch and sneak behind the first guard in the room, turning with him as he then goes out onto the balcony. Shut the balcony door behind him, grab the items, take out Fuchs in the shower with the silencer quickly enough that he doesn't shout, grab the bomb case and then run out the room past the second guard. He'll give you a funny look but won't attack.
you don't even have to kill a pig for the Jungle God. There's a way to trick it and get to the tunnel without problems. Also, in Plutonium Runs Loose you don't even have to use the sniper or kill any dogs
Its amazing how these old games all have a certain personality in it due to the times . Like the Scarface reference , helping that girl to flee and get a lil kiss or just helping out tribes in the columbian forrest haha. I miss time where games where games and not trying to be something over the top and end up being stale and you forget about them.
@@RedWithTheObviouslyLongHandle Contracts is pretty meh. Not much better (if anything really) about the remade levels and the music is severely lacking. I replayed Traditions of the Trade on C47 after playing the Contracts version and actually preferred it, and found basically nothing improved about it in Contracts other than slightly smoother graphics and a few pretty superficial additions. But overall, the hotel felt dead in comparison. Far better music in C47, more humour/character and atmosphere. I even missed little things in Contracts' version such as the silenced Luger which they replaced with some boring modern pistol for no reason.
We can be glad the series didn't die just there and then, because looking at that first game... eugh. It came out in 2000, but looked, sounded, and felt like straight out of 1997, and those three years were a big leap back then.
Codename 47 was the most difficult of all Hitman games.. Hitman got too easy lately. It took me 2 days to clear this mission when I played it for the first time!!
So in Hitman 3, it shows the secret ending where you end up how you start in this game after taking the needle, but Out-Meyer is the one who's behind this here and not The Constant/Edwards.. So basically that ending in Hitman 3 was just a possibility instead of the cannon ending, which was when 47 took down Edwards with the syringe instead. Thank goodness.
