Hitman Elusive Target The Sensation is one Jonathan Smythe: a popstar accused of murder and hiding out at a party in Paris. See Jane, Andy and Mike hunt down the Bieber-ish fugitive in this Hitman gameplay, then go absolutely spare trying to poison his vodka, from which he drinks with infuriating infrequency. They're in London, and using a GPS or something similar to estimate the distance really isn't hard.

The timing on this target is _so_ tight. He only drinks from the glass one time, and if you miss it, you'd better have a damned fine backup plan. (NOTE: Stabbing random partygoer in front of 50 witnesses does NOT count as a backup plan... damned fine, or otherwise.) Or, just hit retry. Whatever. (For what it's worth, the auction staff outfit allows you into the party, and allows you to poison the drink without attracting suspicion, and there's only one easily avoidable person in the garden who can see through the disguise. It's also far easier to acquire it from the guy in the big, empty room next to the 2nd floor buffet area.)

The timing's not too bad for this one, really. From what I've heard, Smythe only starts moving towards the glass when you enter the party area, so if you pretty much haul ass right to the glass, you have a decent chance of getting the poison in before he drinks it.

I "hauled ass" and BARELY beat him to the drink. Like, shoving him out of the way, poisoning the glass as he stares at me, then yelling at him to go back to his routine to take the damn drink, and yelling in relief when he did, barely.

Having just recently started playing Hitman a month ago, I didn't know about the barge. So instead I lured a bodyguard into the bathroom on the second floor, became the bodyguard, grabbed the sniper rifle and went up to the top floor balcony and took the shot. Pretty easy all the same.

First, I like how Mike starts "tee hee-ing," seemingly unaware of the storm of bullets he's square in the middle of. Second, I had a similar go to Andy's successful run but I used the "Vomitrol" (the emetic poison) and had an interesting time when at first I thought he was going all the way to the bathroom but only pukes in a bin in a hallway and then had to risk everything to garrote him essentially in plain view of anyone who cared to look (luckily, they did not).

"manual" pistol? I take it you know nothing about firearms. The pistol used in this game-play was in fact a double action semi-automatic pistol. A "manual" pistol would be something like a revolver like you see in old western movies that have gunslingers and duels at high noon. And in case you're wondering why it's semi-auto. . . .it's because you have to pull the trigger each time you want to fire a round. Whereas with a "fully" automatic, all you need to do is pull the trigger once and hold to fire off multiple rounds. There's more to it than that, but that's as simple as I can put it, in layman's terms.

I also poisoned the drink and stood there for ages waiting for (and shouting at) him to drink it. Eventually, I got bored, restarted the mission and just sniped him. Life's too short.

I just sniped him as I always put the sniper in the shed. I got to the part of the top floor facing the Garden party before popping his noggin. First time - whoop, whoop. You guys came up with the most convoluted way possible of trying to kill this Justin wannabe. God you lot are funny. Keep the HITMAN videos coming and your all awesome... yes even you Mike.

Whew, that was a journey! Poor Jane -- taken down not in honorable combat (like Mike -- well, SORT OF like Mike), but by a server failure! I hope you gave it another shot on your own time -- it did say you could retry. Mike is of course Mike and gets himself shot to pieces. Andy. . .well, we see again that inside each methodical, strategy-loving Andy, there is a Mike yearning to break free on really annoying targets that will only ever take ONE drink at a time. But hey, you got that poison kill in the end! Wear those four Hitmans with honor.

After watching all of these Hitman videos, I had to download the prologue missions. Even just the tutorial bits and the contracts I can do in the two areas are really fun, and I love trying to figure out the cleanest way of doing a mission, as well as doing all the challenges. I would pick up the other episodes, but Monster Hunter World is only a few days away, and that's going to consume my life.

Jane: if you haven't completed at least one objective or died, you can retry/replan elusive contracts. Once you start killing, or if you die, that's when you're not allowed in for real. Most of the people who do silent assassin elusives do at least one, if not multiple recon runs to work out their strategy, get the right tools in place, etc. For entertaining purposes, though, I definitely prefer to see you try on a blind run.

I just climbed the tower and sniped his ass. The briefing actually says that he's having a separate party on the grounds. First place that came to MY mind was that unused, locked off bit in the gardens.

I played this not too long ago and it took me forever to find the target too. Then I just stole a cicada outfit, broke in, unlocked the gate closest to the helicopter, shot the target in the head while standing as close to the gate as possible, and made a run for it and escaped on the helicopter. Like a true assassin 😎

I had the exact same experience. Finally, I had to do a speedrun from the auction place and poisoned him with hardly a second left. He drinks it only once, right at the beginning.

While I was playing this elusive target he at some point stopped walking around. He just started smoking and stood there for ages. I got so annoyed and ran out of patience so I took a risk, I waited till most backs were turned and threw a knife at his head. I expected all the security to come after me immediately but instead only the guests panicked and by the time the security went looking I had made my way to the speedboat. Never expected I was gonna get away with it but I did, sure I didn't get 5 hitmans for it but this was much more satisfying.

I didn't realise he only drinks once, otherwise that would've been a great way to go for Silent Assassin. I thought of maybe trying to disguise as Helmut, but ended up just sniping him from the piledriver barge and running for the speedboat. Only need 5 Elusive Silent Assassins for the sweet winter suit anyway, just have to get 3 more. Also, maybe Jane should do some warm-up play, just to remind her how to play Hitman before she records an Elusive Target...

When I played this, I got so frustrated because he wouldn't drink the poison that I just grabbed a knife, took cover behind the target, chucked the knife like Dutch in Predator and legged it to the chopper. They still wonder how that kitchen knife some got lodged in the back of Jonathan Smythes skull.
