People talk too much about how cool Blood Money is, and it's true. But Contracts is an entire mood man. That freaking soundtrack and ambience is out of this world. I wish we could have gotten that type of atmosphere on The World of Assassination Trilogy.

@@zonelore I'm glad you liked it, but the game basically went against everything Hitman stands for and it will always be considered the black sheep of the series. Its a decent third person shooter, but a very poor Hitman game. To each their own though.

Exactly contacts was underrated and it also created a few mechanics that were later used in blood money plus the graphics looks good for it's time.

I love this, the only thing that grinds me is that all the gameplays just shows the dude playing the aggressive way, not only in this game but the others, and where hitman really shines is in the stealth

Not all of them, in my opinion Absolution is most fun when you set it on easy and play the game with guns blazing, the stealth is really slow and weird in that one so guns blazing makes it fun. It also kinda makes sense for Absolution since 47 is going Rogue and he isn't really the "silent assassin" anymore, he's just trying to get by and keep Victoria safe.

Even though it literally was a step DOWN in a lot of ways, removing a shit ton of options and features from the older games lol. It's the Splinter Cell Conviction of Hitman, not saying you can't enjoy it but saying "it is above what came before" is quite the opposite statement lmfao

the problem alot of people (including myself) have with absolution is that the gameplay isnt like hitman more of a shooter like how codename 47 was originally gonna be but if you play it as a shooter and switch your brain off you can enjoy the game

It's 2023 and im still hoping for a console port of Codename 47, or better yet, a full remake. Kinda weird to have the whole series on PS2-PS5 but the very first one is on Windows, and it barely run well on modern machines. And before anyone tell me that Contracts is C47 remake, no it really isn't. The majority of missions from C47 was missing in Contracts like the Pablo Ochoa missions, the asylum mission or the iconic 48s boss fight, in my opinion still the best final level in all Hitman games up until now. Also, all the missions in Contracts was flashback or a reimaginated version of the C47 missions in 47's head, so it's not 100% accurate.

I my perspective, the hitman game is about you get your own way to get your objective, by choosing your guns, customize them, using objets or crowd control, that is why Blood Money is the best game of Hitman, the only problem is the game have old mechanics, a Remake can fix this
