HITMAN World of Assassination - PSVR2 Announcement Trailer 

That's what people said when the quest version was coming out, and before that when the PC version was coming out.

No it's not. this is the absolute bare minimum and it isn't even confirmed for PC, and certainly doesn't fix the disgusting quest version

​@@netriosilvermy guess is that they will backport all those features to Quest version. XR Games told they will fix issues in the future, I think that's what they've meant. It's very weird that they decided to release Quest version now and not to wait for a December/early next year to have all the features.

After the pc and quest fiasco, its better we wait and see. It looks promising but so did their meta trailers.

@@bxile730 nah. Meta trailers hasn't showed anything new but dual wielding and absence of laggy body. This one showed everything that needed update: updated interactions, proper sniper scope, interactive weapons with manual reload. This one is no-bullshit trailer. And it's a DLC for the main game, so it definitely should have such basic features as score and loadouts. Only thing in question is how much does it cover: are we getting Frelancer for VR? Contracts? Escalations, DLC content, Arcade? But I think majority of the people would be fine even if only mission stories are available.

I mean people also expected the quest 3 version to be amazing pre release (especially in terms of mechanics). Youll find many people on the Reloaded trailer begging to bring the „improvements“ to the pc/psvr versions. Consensus was that reloaded was not made by IOI so it would be actually great this time. Turned our horrible. I wouldnt hold my breath for this version

@@coolertuep well you can actually see the difference between Quest 3 VR Hitman over PSVR2 Hitman in terms of graphics. I’m not a fan of VR myself I’d never play any of it. I’m just saying Hitman Reloaded looked like crap! But this version looks better. That’s the difference between Sony making it and Facebook making it haha.

It's not about looks in this case. The Quest version just had poor framerates and horrible mechanics that the studio that worked on it didn't bother turning into proper VR interactions (despite being "made for VR"). The PCVR version released by IO themselves was also really bad (it was pretty much the same as the Quest version, but with the usual graphics). Just FYI based on that 2nd comment, the device companies (Sony, Facebook) don't make the games. It's whatever game studio the IP owners decide to assign the game to (whether that be themselves or another one). IO just assigned in to some VR studio (not Quest only studio) called XR Games. And you also have to remember the Quest is running on mobile hardware, whilst the PS5 is pretty comparable to that of a mid-end PC, PSVR2 also having eye tracking meaning dynamic foveated rendering (it only renders where you're looking at full resolution, increasing performance). So for what the Quest version was, graphically, it was understandable, but after the botched released where it still had poor framerates even though graphically it wasn't that great, it's generally thought that the Quest version was just bad overall because of the studio that made it, same for all the ones previously made by IO games (for both IO's PSVR and PCVR release)

The thing is that Quest3 is basically a smartphone board while ps5 has a lot of power

@@Phantomdude There was only one version that was built for the dualshock 4. THat version was ported to PC which anyone with a brain knew would shit. This version was designed with VR controllers in mind.

​@@aquariuskudo the quest port reloaded was also built for VR controllers and tauted the inclusion of dual wielding. It's abysmal. There's no reason to give them the benefit of the doubt after 3 failed attempts.

@@knochenkotzer2461 yeah but those improvements and fixes that they are gonna include on the PSVR 2, the PCVR is way too raw, a lot of people me included bought the Hitman 3 only for VR mode, they should not keep it as a beta i think

@@Kid_Dynamowait for the psvr2 version first lol. People also expect the „built from the ground up“ quest version to have amazing vr interactions and begged to bring them to pc And it was horrible again. The third time in a row.

@@coolertuep the quest 3 version was doomed from the start, just see the trailers that was bad, this looks light years beyond from the quest 3, but is always good to remind the developers because there's a lot of games that get better versions and fixes on console or standalone and the pc stays behind with the old ones, it's just not fair

this one isnt. it will come to psvr2 on the ps5 and hopefully day one to pc, though not confirmed. what is so annoying is that the quest on hitman reloaded is fing terrible. the game looks shit, runs poorly (not because of hardwear but the game itself), and the ui is the same as the bloody flatscreen game so it dosent work properly in vr. also the main menu is not change to fit vr so it is just a 2d screen. they said that is was fully worked from the ground up but from the looks of it, the game should have been left in the ground. give it a couple of months and i feel as though they will fix alot of the issues but for now the game is donky shit.

This game was already released 3 times on vr and somehow each time it got worse. Ill wait and see lol

Still not bought yet, but this has definitely pushed the incentive. Loved psvr version despite its problems, can't wait to try the upgrade.

@@coolertuep Definitely not. VR Reloaded is missing a lot of these features and plays very differently.
