I love Ronnie and he's one of my favorite bodybuilders. With that being said, there's a big difference between having a passion for something and then acting recklessly. The sad condition Ronnie is in today could have been prevented had he properly recovered from his surgeries. The kinds of surgeries he had requires a complete change in training as well as a lot of time to heal and recover. I cannot say I respect that kind of disregard for one's health.

@@averagejoe4700 you also have to remember that back surgeries have a 70-90 percent fail / make it worse rate those surgeries definitely made him worse yes he didnt do the proper healing he needed to but back surgeries have one of the highest fail rates

Thats the reason he is in that condition though. He had surgeries and his doctor told him to lay off with working out so hard during recovery, but he continued going crazy with the lifts and had to redo the surgeries and after a while he was just fked.

It’s too late sadly he didn’t rest injuries during his prime and this is the effects but we can hope and pray that he’ll get better some what

Working out with heavy weights wasn’t the issue. He suffered a back injury while playing high school football and his Mother had bad hips. It was bad luck and the evidence of that is him being the only one suffering like that while thousands of other guys lift heavy and retire just fine. I watch my coach Andrew “Bull” Stewart lift 800+ for 20+ years and he’s fine at 65 years old now.
