As soon as I saw Zak I knew this was going to be a banger. That said I am so happy to see the Cat X doing so well and real deal competition to the voodoo. You cannot be disappointed at all at where we are with bats right now - other than the prices.

You’ve come so far in your swing and strength Will in the 3 years I’ve been watching in my humble and uneducated opinion. Your bat path and hands are so much more efficient, cool to watch.

DeMarini bats are my fav, still swinging my wood one for 8 years, it’s a beast!!!!

PSA: don't buy these or any bat from 3rd party sellers who are inflating the crap out of the price. I see them locally too often for $500 up. Just order a custom one from DeMarini for $50 more over the normal price.

Been heavily debating the Cat X for some time now, every time you release a video featuring it in some way is only convincing me to go in on it. Thanks for going in depth with these reviews and covering all the bases.

When i got the voodoo one i was so impressed i bought a second bat almost the same day. After i got the catx i was wishing i had bought a second one of those instead of the voodoo. The handle taper just some how feels way better and easier to swing the bat. Kinda like the ax bat feel. The sound coming from the marucci sounds like a bat hitting a chainlink fence. 🤣 it echos off the mountain were im at. Haha. Id say its twice as loud as the voodoo. The ball definitely catches the barrel on the catx more i feel as well. I live over in hoodriver just near Portland so you might be able to here me swing it to Wil. 🤣

I say at the end of the day. Both 🔥 and badas .. so what does feel better to swing. And what feels best for personal preference. DeMarini has a thin handle, but Marucci has that larger handle grip. But both 🔥. Great job guys. Keep rollen

My son played in a fall 16u tournament this weekend. I saw a handful of the single piece CatX bats.

Swing the blue meta again, it's been quite a while since you've swung it and I believe you hit the ball harder and further now than you did back in 2020 when the blue meta came out.

Just picked up the CatX for my 14u son...he loves it!

I just ordered a custom 2023 -3 voodoo one, can’t wait.

Love the vids. It's a long shot, but do you think you can try out the Asics Gold Stage Maple? It's the bat that Shohei Ohtani swings, looks like it has a ton of pop. Curious to see how it performs since I've never tried out a bat from Asics, and it's been awhile since you guys have swung some real lumber!

I pre ordered this bat for my 13 year old son. I don't know if it gave him confidence or if it's just the bat but he's killing the ball and there are no issues with the bat at all. He loves it and to me that's all that matters. Love the videos. God bless!!!!

It's unreal how close both the VoodDoo One & CatX sound ...

Man, it's awesome seeing these guys smashing the ball with everything they got! But it really gives you tremendous amounts of respect for MLB players, hitting way harder, with a wood bat. Takes real special skill for a player like Vlad Guerrero Jr to hit a ball 118 mph for line drive homeruns.

So I would say around 2019ish demarini bats went to downhill. You mentioned the knob issues and this has been true with their ASA line as well. I think they lost a lot of customers because of that issue.

I got this bat about 6 months ago and now it has this weird vibrations that happens every time I hit the ball. Also happens unnaturally if I hit the knob on the ground. I’d say it’s durability is it’s only weak point

Will, we ended up getting the 32" CATX. After team practice and a little tee work , Rohan really likes the CATX. Says it's easier to swing and it has a better feel then the V1. I did cut about 1/2" off the taper so there is more transition to the knob. REALLY likes the CATX. Still like s the V1, but it's going back for warranty with a broken cap.
