Hive Inspections: Part 1 - Two Months

This is part one of our second month hive inspections. We had added a second brood chamber after about 5 weeks after the bees’s arrival.
I’m still figuring out how to make these videos. The second camera did work and I was able to get a few good shots.
Unfortunately, a few bees were harmed in this video. I was required to remove some cross comb and burr comb that messed up some of the brood comb. Cross comb is where the bees have built comb across frames, making it impassable to remove individual frames. Burr comb or Bridge comb is where the bees have built comb between upper and lower frames, bridging the gap.
The new breathable bee jacket was a birthday gift from my beautiful bride.
