As usual. Power creep is making limited magic into weenie contests, where you need to get on the board every turn or get run over. I miss the days where you could use a turn to just draw a couple of cards.

@@davidbielsa5188 to be fair that’s been a while. My question is will this set heat oit Rise of Eldrazi in speed. Biggest issue appears to be all of the archetypes are built around the same mechanics- oil and poison. Meaning not only is there a ton of redundancy there don’t seem to be any archetypes with commons powerful enough to slow them down. Well that and mites not blocking just kinda say “no idc how you WANT to play you WILL attack.”

Not being able to block with the tokens and not having tokens with flying are strikes against it. It's definitely not as good as Bitterblossom, but still good.

A single card can't define a format as "Prince". VOW, for example, was a Prince format 'cause most of its rares were straight up snowbally, hard-to-interact-with bombs

I don't get it. Whats is happening on 34:05? Why does Nummy hover over the creatures? Is it so they don't sacifice the Planeswalker which is pacified?

Yes, essentially It was mind games. By hovering over only the creatures, Kenji was acting like those were the opponents only options by kind of drawing his attention away from the planeswalker that he could obviously have chosen with no real loss, as you say because it was already pacified.

4-0d my pre release with a sick gruul Aggro deck with a Luka and Urubrasks forge which is NUTS with any proliferate. Getting tokens that trade for legit cards every turn is nasty. Kinda slow but pretty much any non Aggro deck can’t beat it if they don’t have interaction for it.
