Well the rampant parental/guardian negligence is in full swing before we get past the first couple of minutes so we're already par for the course on that front. With only four episodes I doubt Hussie would have the time to dive off the deep end and confuse the hell out of players like he did with Homestuck on a regular basis. But it still gives him plenty of room to wreck people emotionally. "O. U liek dat doggo? Dat one rite der? *_Flexes fingers_* Not for long." The only part of the first episode that has me less than impressed was the strife battles. At no point did I feel like Joey was in any real danger. While I fumbled through the unexplained battle system to figure out which things did what and in what combination Hussie wanted me to put it into to progress, _she_ was getting whaled on without any real damage being done. I expected more from it honestly.

Yeah the strife system was, not really anything besides a sort of not puzzle? do something wrong ==> get a hint about what you actually need to do from the text box ==> see if theres any more entertaining animations first ==> do the thing. Also I think 4 episodes is plenty of time to get a-convoluted, even if its not as much as the comic. I just hope we don't have to organise any stable time loops.

Joey's a Maid of Light, Xefros is a Page of Time. Jude is definitely a Doom player and I'm thinking almost definitely a Seer but that could still be up in the air. I can see the relationship between Dammek and Rage (and also Joey and Life, by the way! She's complicated.) but Dammek is most likely a Thief of Breath, given that Xefros matches his Blood's aspect (Aradia being Time), and Dammek has all these references to leadership and stuff. I'm already writing an essay on Joey that I'm planning to turn into a video, and I'm gonna be writing posts/making videos on all of them as soon as time allows me. Pre [S] Game Over Vriska was great, probably the best character in the story. Post [S] Game Over Vriska was a hollow copy of the previous Vriska but without any of the character development, and who always got her way.
