Idk why they even changed the headsculpt from 2019 to 2021/2024 😭 Goji got his head stuck in a hydraulic press.

I've already preordered the hiya evolved Godzilla from bigbadtoystore so I am going to try keyword to get the others from Hiya specifically the GXK pre-evolved Godzilla, the GVK Atomic blast Godzilla, with Shimo, mothra, and rodan since ghidorah is still expensive though I am curious how Hiya will handle Mechagodzilla if they ever do one in the future But as for SHMA I have just given up collecting them since there too expensive the QC issues are going to be present and despite getting rereleases and repaints we aren't getting better price deals or any accessories with them and what there doing to kong making us have to buy both the SHMA Skar king and Shimo just to get his accessories aka the beast glove and the new face with the metal tooth when they could have just done 2 kongs the reissue that we have gotten only he has his metal tooth then the second one which has the beast glove or an ultimate effect set for Kong and it would have the new head sculpts with the metal tooth and the beast glove so shimo and Skar king can have there own personal accessories for them when they come out.

Agreed. I tried to support SHMA for so long, and they do still make *some* good figures. But it is just ridiculous at this point. The past few years I have branched out so much in figure collecting, and whenever I look back to see what Monsterarts is doing: 9 times out of 10 I am disappointed. This line is floundering right now. And who knows, maybe they'll bounce back on the whole. They've done it before. But particularly their Godzilla stuff is in the gutter and I am not going to support that shit. Now a company that ACTUALLY listens to feedback and criticism? A company who's standard price ISN'T $100+? A company who is trying their best to make the customer experience as simple and smooth as possible? A relative newcomer who needs the support? Yeah I'm gonna go with them. And I really wasn't on board at first. It took a LONG time for me to even humor Hiya. At first I thought it was just a repeat of NECA and that people only liked them cause they were cheap. I wasn't a fan of the limited articulation or the paint. But they have been growing better and better over such a short amount of time. And now with this updated 91 sculpt? I see no reason to not support them anymore. Can't speak for others, only how I feel on my own views. But I think it would be ridiculous for me to support Monsterarts shenanigans any longer. When there is such a talented and attentive staff on Hiya's end, It would feel irresponsible to tout Bandai for their Godzilla line when I know they can do so much better WITHIN the Monsterarts line. Not even branching out to other parts of the company like Figuarts. Within its own subsect, the Godzilla line pales in comparison to other lines Monsterarts is running right now. The Monster Hunter line is far from perfect with QC and engineering, but they are trying something new with each release and improving on the formula. The Yugioh line so far has been 2 for 2 amazing, and I have a feeling they are going to keep it up. The fact that they keep taking advantage of the popularity of Godzilla to pump out inaccurate figures, with consistently weak QC, bad joint tolerance, ugly (and minimal) paint and refuse to improve is a sign for me that it's time to move on. For now at least.

And OF COURSE, you're in a different country than the US, which would be an entirely different section and bloat the runtime. Also, unfortunately, you aren't the target audience - and to be fair on the SDCC G89 page they explicitly state only for the US, not Japan even. When it comes to stuff like this, the whispered thing is this is *from the target market/US's perspective,* if you're in Canada, UK, Brazil, etc.. you need to factor in your own information.

I think this is exactly my issue with the SDCC version. It has NOTHING additional or extra that makes it, you know, exclusive. It’s basically a low key Special Color Version/Reissue disguised as an SDCC. I will only be getting it because I no longer have my 89’ and (at SDCC at least) it is the same price as the original figure. Kong had a boatload of accessories and it makes me wonder if maybe the fact Kong is *still* being sold is making Tamshii Nations hesitant to invest in additional accessories.

And here's the thing, no one's talking quality here; both brands do a great job of that.... Mostly. I think we can compromise, regardless of opinion - collective we, to be clear - that both companies can dominate their respective releases when they do well. This is a matter of countering "don't like it don't buy it." So what if I don't like it? What if I WANT to like it but can't? Silence changes nothing, be specific about why you don't like it. Articulate the reason. And if I DO buy something or intend to buy something? What, you're gonna tell me to be quiet and try to shift it to me being questionable in my purchase decision? If that's the case, and I need to expect perfect from a $100 dinosaur toy, BOY do I want a goddamn refund on my wedding and master's degree and house and my American made guitars and and and... You get the point lmfao. If those aren't perfect, they COULDN'T be, I think the picture is clear lol.

Look, I honestly have "beef" with 2 people in this community; they both can't keep my name out of their mouth over something a decade ago, and they literally (my interpretation, actions speak louder than words) wanted to ruin a professional relationship.
