bought the same helmet in white this year, really like it. great ventilation, great visibility. got the gold RST visor. great in sun and cloud. same problem with the scratching. have a bell helmet with a gold visor and not an issue for 2 years. Get the Pinlock..i resisted and then on a rainy day i was almost blind.
I was considering the gold visor as well! Which bell helmet do you have? Yes, pretty disappointing that the visor scratches quite easily. Although, I popped in the new visor about 6 months ago, and it's holding up much better than the first one, which only got about 3-4000km of riding! We'll see how this one holds up.
@@motoarkyne its a Bullitt in blue sparkle with the gold bubble shield. really love it, super comfortable, very quiet, but it has no ventilation for the summer months. will be using it in the fall again.

Got my pin-lock insert and chin curtain but helmet is due Monday. I didn't order the tinted shield. Got me thinking more now. I will order the camera chin mount that glues on. Tired of the off center. I really need to improve my videos. Thanks for the heads up this morning about this video. Will you being doing a review on the i70? I almost bought it, but I wear prescription glasses. Unfortunately, they don't tint up due to the helmet shield blocking the UV rays that trigger it. Suggestion: Wear a helmet with the camera when you are needing to do something with both hands. Looking forward to your channel growth.

I am a little OCD when it comes to gluing things to my helmet. I don't even like stickers on it! So that's why I'm looking at the Sena 10C for a camera option. I have an older go pro, which I use for my action shots, BUT I will try the head mounted camera. Thank you for the suggestion. -Yes, I have an i70 which I will be reviewing soon. -Lastly, did you get your helmet, and what do you think!? Which colorway did you get?
@@motoarkyne I understand the OCD part, unfortunately hahahaha. Matte Blue, that's why I got the I-10 instead of the I-70. I have fat head and ordered 2 sizes up and it fits perfect. Still a tight fit. First time with Pin Lock and now I understand why people love 'em. Head band for the camera is prolly better. Thanks again for your videos, information, and comparisons.
Yes. Probably a 15-20% reduction. Doesn't sound like much, but anything helps. It certainly helps eliminate the wind blast going up the front of your helmet, which I appreciate.
Well, I can't say that I ride at 150km/h often :), but I can say it gets pretty noisy at almost any speed over 60km/h. Not as noisy as my modular helmet. Either way, I don't ride without earplugs. Thanks for the question!
