Double d-ring is a deal-breaker for me. It's a thing when putting it on but even more a thing when had an accident. And unfortunately I've been there. Had everything scattered and fractured from the belly-button down. But my spine above that point and my neck were unharmed. I was able to take off my HJC full-face I was wearing with a click on the button. Would not want to have a double d-ring at that moment. First aid ambulance people will get it off when you're not faster then them but when laying on the ground that's one of the first things I wanted to do. You can take your helmet off with your gloves on. Only had one functional arm, the other one I thought was ripped of, but lay shattered under my back. I think I will go for full-face again with a quick release button. Thanks for reviewing though!
No, not that we are aware of. HJC offers enough similar helmets with Flat Shields for customers after that look that they have yet to release one for the V90 since the curved shield is the main style design here.
I've had many motorcycles and a few scooters. I generally wear the same helmet on all of them, since my head doesn't seem to change depending on the vehicle I'm on, nor does the road care what type of vehicle I flew off of. People who have to wear different types of helmets on different types of bikes are more concerned with fashion statements than protection.
