To clarify btw for anyone wondering about the repost: the bit at 2:23 was originally shown with the path to the original steam install as opposed to the place where all the files are copied over. RU-vid allows some in-app editing but does not allow new video content to be added in, so I had to repost to fix it.
I can't say from experience but I'm fairly certain it would, yea. The file paths will just be different. From the Discord: Save Files: ~/Library/Application Support/unity.Team Cherry.Hollow Knight/ Game Files: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Hollow Knight/hollow_knight.app/ Keep in mind that the autosplitter currently allowed for the boards doesn't work on anything besides Windows, so ATM you won't be able to submit runs with loadless time. There is however another autosplitter currently being tested that should work on macOS and Linux, so hopefully that'll change soon.
@@Lep_19 Thanks. There is only a hollowKnight app in Game Files folder, no folder with any data. Also, when I ran the new steam game (with the new text file) it still would run the original game that I switched back to current patch
